Young Pakistan batter Hasan Nawaz stole the limelight with his heroics in the third T20I against New Zealand. The young batter broke Babar Azam's record for the fastest century in T20I cricket for the Pakistan National Cricket Team.
Hasan Nawaz, who bagged two back-to-back ducks in the first two games of the series, made sure that he made a big impact in his third international game. The intent that Pakistan was lacking in the T20Is for the last few years was on display against New Zealand in the third T20I.
Chasing the target of 205 runs, Mohammad Haris and Hasan Nawaz took Pakistan off to a flying start with the bat. The duo added 75 runs for the opening wicket before the keeper-batter was back in the hut. But, after that, the show was stolen completely by the Nawaz.
Hasan Nawaz slammed New Zealand bowlers all over the park and made sure that he made a mockery of the chase. The right-hander played brilliant shots in his innings and raced away to his maiden century in international cricket in just his third innings.
