Humiliating! Rajasthan Royals trolls Rahul Dravid for his injury after loss to DC, later delete post

Rajasthan Royals came up with the humiliating act as they trolled head coach Rahul Dravid for his injury. This came after the Sanju Samson-led side suffered a disappointing loss against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Wednesday (16th April).

Delhi Capitals got themselves back to the winning ways as they beat Rajasthan Royals by runs in the 32nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. The game went down the wire and saw a Super over, which was clinched by the Axar Patel-led side.

Delhi Capitals had a decent start to their innings as Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel (49) added 34 runs for the opening partnership. But they lost two wickets after that and came under pressure. KL Rahul (38) and Porel then led the rescue charge and stitched 63 runs for the third wicket.

However, after that, Delhi Capitals struggled to score runs in the middle, and it was then that skipper Axar Patel (34) provided much-needed momentum to his team innings. Tristan Stubbs (34*), in the end, finished the innings on high as Delhi posted a total of 188 for five.

Rajasthan Royals, in the chase, had a dream start to their innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal (51) and Sanju Samson (31) adding 61 runs. Riyan Parag, at three, failed but Nitish Rana (51) put Delhi bowlers under massive pressure with his brilliant half-century.

Dhruv Jurel (26) and Shimron Hetmyer (15*) then did further damage, and the game went into the last over with Rajasthan Royals needing nine runs. Mitchell Starc then oozed his class with the ball as he made sure that the game ended in a draw and went to Super over.

In the Super over, Rajasthan Royals batted first as they opened with Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer but couldn't score big. They lost Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal to run out and managed just 11 runs.

KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs opened the innings for Delhi Capitals and they took just four balls to chase the target.

Rajasthan Royals mocks Rahul Dravid, later deletes post

As Rajasthan Royals lost the game, the franchise came up with the humiliating post, mocking Rahul Dravid. The head coach, who has been using a wheelchair to move in the league, was trolled for that by the franchise.

However, immediately after that, they deleted the post.
