“I like Virat’s attitude but he fights a lot,” says BCCI President Sourav Ganguly: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly recently during an event said that he likes team India’s red-ball captain Virat Kohli’s attitude. However further BCCI chief pulls back his step as he voiced “Virat fights a lot.”
Lately, a row has been started against the BCCI officials after Virat Kohli completed the pre-departure press conference. In the press conference, Virat clearly stated that he was not advised by any of the board members not to step down from the T20I captaincy.
This obviously didn’t go well with the fans as Sourav Ganguly earlier in an interview said that he personally asked Virat not to relinquish his T20I leadership. The two contradictory statements from two big names have left the netizens confused and shocked.
Meanwhile, Ganguly attended an event in Gurgaon in which he was asked which player’s attitude he likes a lot to which Ganguly replied, “Virat Kohli.”
“I like Virat Kohli’s attitude but he fights a lot,” said Sourav Ganguly.

Further in the event, he was asked ways to tackle the stress in life especially during the dire covid times to which the former cricketer sarcastically replied, “There is no stress in life. Only wife and girlfriend give stress.”
The BCCI has refrained to take any call or giving any statement on Virat Kohli’s fierce press conference. Ganguly recently said that the board will deal with the issues internally and no statement or media releases will be issued from the board.
“Let’s not take this further, I have nothing to say. It is the matter of the BCCI and they will only deal with it.”
As of now, the reports say that BCCI is unlikely to take any harsh step due to the upcoming Test series.
