The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced the full player’s list announced for the ICC player of decade award in different categories. The final winner will be announced shortly after the votes. The player to get the most number of votes will win the award in that category.
ICC announced the list for ICC Men’s Player of the Decade, ICC Men’s Test Player of the Decade, Men’s ODI Player of the Decade, and ICC Men’s T20I Player of the Decade.
The ICC also announced the awards list for women. ICC Women’s Player of the Decade, ICC Women’s ODI Player of the Decade, and ICC Women’s T20I Player of the Decade.
ICC Men’s Player Award of the Decade:
Virat Kohli (India), R. Ashwin (India), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Joe Root (England), Steve Smith (Australia), AB de Villiers (South Africa), and Kane Williamson (New Zealand).
ICC Women’s Player Award of the Decade:
Mithali Raj (India), Ellyse Perry (Australia), Sarah Taylor (England), Suzie Bates (New Zealand), Stafanie Taylor (West Indies), and Meg Lanning (Australia).
ICC Men’s Test Player Award of the Decade:
Virat Kohli (India), Joe Root (England), Kane Williamson (New Zealand), Steve Smith (Australia), James Anderson (England), Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka), and Yasir Shah (Pakistan).
ICC Men’s ODI Player Award of the Decade:
Rohit Sharma (India), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Mitchell Starc (Australia), Virat Kohli (India), AB de Villiers, MS Dhoni (India), and Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka).
