After months of discussions between the BCCI and PCB, it's finally confirmed—the tournament will follow a hybrid model. While Pakistan remains the official host, all of India’s matches will take place at a neutral venue. The tournament is set to put the first brick on 19th February. 
Popular cricket news website RevSportz has shared a tentative schedule for the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025. As per their report, the electrifying India-Pakistan group stage clash will likely occur on February 23.

The Boxing Day test is always a showcase of any test series that is being played between December and January. It is referred to as a test match that starts after Christmas (December 25). It is generally conducted mainly in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The Test match earned its name since it is usual in churches to open boxes of gifts after Christmas Eve.

In what has been the latest development as per the former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif, India vs Pakistan series might be around the corner. His comments came following the ICC announcement that India and Pakistan won't be travelling to each other's country till 2027. 
Rashid Latif claimed that both the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) are set to organize the tournament that will benefit both the BCCI as well as PCB. This is because ICC, BCCI, PCB and ACB are all set to face financial loss after the recent decision made on the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
