ICC ODI World Cup 2023: New Schedule, India vs Pakistan Match Reschedule on October 14: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a revised schedule for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, with the India vs Pakistan match being rescheduled to October 14.
The original schedule had the match being played on October 15, but the ICC has moved it up by a day to avoid a clash with the Dussehra festival. The match will now be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is the same venue as the tournament opener between England and New Zealand.
It will be the eighth meeting between India and Pakistan at an ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 and the first time they have played each other in the tournament since 2019. The World Cup 2023 final will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The revised schedule has been met with mixed reactions from fans. Some fans have welcomed the change, as it will avoid a clash with Dussehra. Others have expressed disappointment, as they were looking forward to watching the India vs Pakistan match on a weekend.
Only time will tell whether the revised schedule will be a success. However, one thing is for sure, the India vs Pakistan match is sure to be a sell-out, regardless of when it is played. The ICC has also announced that the toss for each match will be conducted at 1:30 PM IST, with the match starting at 2:00 PM IST.
