ICC T20 Ranking: Suryakumar Yadav is the new No 1 in T20I cricket. He has overtaken Mohammad Rizwan to become the top-order T20I batsman in the latest ICC rankings update. India’s Suryakumar Yadav has topped the MRF Tires ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings for batsmen after scoring two half-centuries in the last week at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
Suryakumar has been in fine touch in the ongoing Men’s T20 World Cup, scoring two half-centuries in his first four matches; His knock of 68 runs in just 40 balls against South Africa came in a situation where other Indian batsmen struggled. He is also the leading run-scorer in T20Is in 2022 with 965 runs including a century.

England’s captain Jos Buttler’s 73 against New Zealand has moved him three places to 14th, while Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz has moved up four places to 17th, South Africa’s David Miller has moved up two places to 28th, Sri Lanka’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa has moved up eight places. Bowler’s Ranking Updates
