The Australia VS Zimbabwe game in the T20 World Cup 2007 was elite. It was one hell of a shocker for the cricketing world. Zimbabwe won the game with 5 wickets and 1 ball to spare. Brendan Taylor took charge of the Zimbabwe batting innings. The bowling was led by captain Elton Chigumbura who took 3 wickets by giving only 20 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Afghanistan defeated the champions of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 in a group-stage game. While every team struggled to beat this flamboyant team, the Afghans made it look like a cakewalk. West Indies beat India, England, and South Africa and only lost to Afghanistan in that entire World Cup. For Afghanistan, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan played a crucial role with the ball in hand. With the bat, it was Najibullah Zadran who helped the Afghans get to a decent total.
2022 Ireland VS England:
Ireland shocked England by defeating them by 5 runs. It was the rain that came to their rescue. Earlier it was Andrew Balbirnie and Joshu Little who were the top performers for the men in green. Andrew scored a well-fought 50. It was pure stroke play and very few miss-hits. Joshua on the other hand was magic with the ball in hand. The Irish men made effective use of the overcast conditions. The swing became difficult for the Brits to counter.
