We are just 12 days away from the IPL 2024 Auction and surely, it is going to be bowlers Auction as there are big names on the table this time around. We have brought you the the ICC T20I Bowling Rankings (Top 10) teams they are in IPL 2024.

It is quite strange that only six out of top 10 ICC Ranked Bowlers have been retained by the IPL franchises. However, those who are released are released owing to the injury concerns and unavailability issue.
Down below is the ICC T20I Bowling Rankings and the IPL teams of the top 10 ranked players.
ICC T20I Bowling Rankings
1- Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi is a right-arm leg spinner with an unorthodox action. Many call him an OFF-Spinner with a leg-spinning action and he is sitting at the top of the ICC T20I Bowling rankings. He has played for Lucknow Super Giants for last two years and is retained for this year too.
He has taken 53 wickets in the 52 matches he has played till now. He previously was a member of Punjab Kings.
2- Rashid Khan
Who doesn’t know Rashid Khan! An Afghan right arm leggi who has done mastery in all the variations of his wrist. He is currently bound to Gujarat Titans and helped Gujarat reach the two finals straight.
He has pulled out some great performances in the IPL. He has picked up 139 wickets in 109 matches at a strike rate of just below 15.
3- Wanindu Hasaranga
Another right arm leg spinner ranked at the top in the latest ICC T20I Bowling rankings and this time it is Wanindu Hasaranga. He was roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore till last year but following his injury and inconsistency on the field, RCB have released him from the squad. He has played just 24 matches and has picked up 36 wickets with a fifer.
4- Adil Rashid
One more leggie! Rashid is a right-arm leg break bowler who is also right-handed batsman. He was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 2 crore in IPL 2023 auctions but have been released by them after a below par performance. He went for over 90 runs in the total 10 overs he bowled in IPL 2023 and picked up just 2 wickets. Before SRH, he played 1 match for PBKS in 2021.
5- Maheesh Theekshana
Maheesh Theekshana is signed to Chennai Super Kings under MS Dhoni. He played 13 innings in the 2023 edition of IPL and took 11 wickets and most importantly he was economical. He had some injury issues a couple of months ago and hopfully he will be in for the IPL 2024.
6- Sam Curran
Sam Curran was the most expensive player in the mini auction last year where Punjab Kings signed him and have decided to keep him in their squad this year too. He played 14 innings last year and picked up 10 wickets and also scored over 200 runs for his team.
7- Fazalhaq Farooqi
Afghan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi has played just 7 games as this young man has just put his steps in IPL in 2023. Retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Farooqi took 4 wickets in the 4 games he played last year and is expected to do a lot more this year.
8- Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Mujeeb played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2021. He didn’t participated in 2022 auction and went unsold in 2023 mini Auction.
9- Akeal Hosein
Akeal Hosein was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023 mini auction and now they have released him just after one season. He just played one match this year and went for 40 runs in 4 overs and took one wicket.
10- Anrich Nortje
Delhi Capitals have stick to Anrich Nortje for quite a long now and it seems they are quite positive this time as well. With his raw pace, he has picked up 53 wickets in 40 matches in total. He might lead Delhi Capitals Bowling this season. He is ranked 10th in the ICC T20I Bowling rankings.
