The women’s main event, which will be hosted by South Africa, is scheduled to commence on February 10. A few days back, Shafali Verma’s India U-19 team won the inaugural edition of the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup, defeating Australia in the finals. South Africa was the host of that event too.

The eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on February 10, 2023, with the hosts South Africa taking on Sri Lanka. The semifinal matches of the tournament will take place in Cape Town, with the other matches taking place in Paarl, Gqeberha, and Cape Town. The title game will be played on February 26, 2023, with February 27 reserved as a backup day in case there is a substantial interruption of play that day.
