ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: The eighth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to start on February 10. The women’s tournament will be hosted by South Africa, the country which hosted the inaugural season of the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka and the tournament hosts South Africa will square off in the season opener.
The tournament’s eighth season will take place in South Africa from February 10 to 26. Games will be staged in Gqeberha, formerly Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, and Paarl. The U19 women who made history by winning the first U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa last week will definitely boost the senior Team India’s confidence.

The defending champion is Australia, who has won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup five times. Australia defeated India by more than 80 runs in the tournament’s final in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. Once again, Australia are the obvious favorite to win their sixth championship this year.
The ICC Women’s T20 World cup 2023 is a 10-team tournament and those 10 teams are divided into two groups with each group consisting of 5 teams.
