England Women captain Heather Knight won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, England Women scored 118 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Opener Wyatt-Hodge scored 41 runs in 40 balls. In bowling, Nahida Akter, Fahima Khatun and Ritu Moni took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh Women while Rabeya Khan got one wicket.

Chasing the target of 118 runs, Bangladesh women’s team could only score 97 runs in 20 overs, apart from Sobhana Mostary and Nigar Sultana, no other batsman could even score in double figures. Mostary scored 44 runs in 48 balls while captain Sultana could score only 15 runs in 20 balls.

In the bowling department, Linsey Smith and Charlotte Dean took two wickets each whereas Nat Sciver-Brunt and Sarah Glenn took one wicket each for England Women.

Talking about the points table of Group B, England Women are at the first place in the points table with two points and a run rate of 1.050, whereas Bangladesh Women are at the third place with one win and one loss in two matches.
