ICC World Cup 2023: The mega event of the cricketing world of just 18 days away from us. The festival of cricket will begin from the 5th of October in India with the final set to take place on the 19th of November. With all the hype around ICC World Cup 2023, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has picked his four semi-finalists for the tournament. What caught the attention of many was he left out New Zealand, and South Africa and instead gave a nod ahead to Sri Lanka.
Suresh Raina picked India as the first semi finalist. It’s fair to say that the Rohit Sharma-led side will be one of the hot favourites to win the ICC World Cup 2023. They will be playing in home conditions and have almost every base covered.
The former Indian cricketer also picked England and Australia as semi finalist for ICC World Cup 2023. The two teams since the last few years have taken world cricket by storm. The brand of cricket that they have played is something many teams have tried. They have been extremely successful and it’ll be no surprise if we see both of them in the final.

Suresh Raina wasn’t sure about the fourth semi-finalist for the ICC World Cup 2023 and therefore he picked Sri Lanka and Pakistan. According to him one of them will make it into the semi-final. Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka have played quality cricket over the last few months.
Their performance in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 was staggering. While Pakistan made it into the Super Four stage, Sri Lanka reached the final. The two will be an extremely threat for other teams on the slow India pitches.
