ICC World Cup 2023: ODI Cricket World Cup is back after a long wait of four years. This year the ICC Cricket World Cup is going to be held in India. The first match will be played between the 2019 World Cup winning team England and New Zealand on 5th October at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, the same World Cup final will also be played on 19-November at the same stadium.
A total of ten countries are going to participate in this year’s World Cup. Out of ten teams, eight teams have qualified for the World Cup 2023, the same two teams are going to come from the Super Six of the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023. The names of the eight qualified teams are as follows – Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa.
Two possible teams could be Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Because in the Super Six of the Super ICC Qualifier, both those teams have won all three out of three so far and are at the first place in the points table.
So far no team has announced its squad officially. But today in which article you all can see the expected playing XI of the Indian team and the squad of 15 members.
