With ICC World Cup Qualifiers just around the corner, West Indies have named a strong 15-member squad for the tournament.  The team will be led by an experienced opener in Shai Hope with Rovman Powell being his deputy. The duo were recently given the leadership role.

What has been the main highlight of the squad is West Indies has recalled Johnson Charles into the team. He was a late addition to the team after Gudakesh Motie was ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back injury.

The rest of the squad seems pretty balanced with Shamarh Brooks, Yannic Cariah, Keacy Carty and Nicholas Pooran boosting the batting department. There are quite a few all-rounders in the team in Roston Chase, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Keemo Paul, Nicholas Pooran, and Romario Shepherd whereas Alzarri Joesph pacer in the team.
