IND vs AUS 4th test (Narendra Modi Stadium pitch)

The first test was held at Nagpur and the result came up in just 3 days and a similar case to the second test in Delhi pitch. The 3rd test was played at Holkar stadium, where the home side suffered a sounding defeat by 9 wickets. The ICC gave the pitches an average rating in the first two Tests and then reinforced the matter by giving a poor rating to the Nagpur pitch. Some reports are claiming that The BCCI might challenge ICC’s decision of ‘poor‘ rating for the Indore pitch.

The fourth test between India and Australia is now set to take place from March 9 to March 13 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. As per reports, after what happened in the Indore Test, the wicket for the last Test may not be a rank-turner. Nonetheless, spin is still anticipated to be a factor in the game.

India and Australia will meet each other at Ahmedabad for the first in a test format. The hosts have played 14 Tests there so far. The Australians, however, have played 5 white ball matches at the venue, winning three and losing two.

The Narendra Modi Stadium’s pitches, like those at most other venues in the subcontinent, have benefited spinners throughout the span of Test matches, sometimes even from the first ball. Although some images of the stadium’s pitch have surfaced, the Australian camp has been unable to determine its future plans.

There is still time for the match to start, but the curators have reported that they have not received any instructions from the BCCI or the management of the Indian team regarding how to set up the pitch. Should it be assumed that the Indian camp is equally unsure about the type of pitch that needs to be made?

So far, it seems that the pitch is going to be balanced, unlike the first 3 matches. In a photo released, some grass can be seen in the pitch which shows that the surface will be harder.
