IND vs AUS: A sweet start for India that might have healed some pain from the World Cup final loss. India won the first T20I in fashion defeating Australia by 2 wickets and now they will look forward to seal the series with a victory in the 2nd T20I. India and Australia are scheduled to play the 2nd T20I on 26 November and here we are with the Strongest India playing 11 for IND vs AUS 2nd T20I.

This is the first time when Surya Kumar Yadav is leading the national side and he won his first match as a captain. It was neither the full-strength Indian side nor the Australian side as the World Cup was concluded just 4 days ago and both teams were finalists so the main players were rested.
India won the toss and opted to bowl first. Australia batting first saw some really good batting and the surface proved to be a belter. Josh Inglis got his first T20I century in just 47 balls and riding over his magnificent innings, Australia posted a huge total of 208 runs.
India got a really pathetic start as they were 2 down for just 22 runs. Then Ishan and Surya got the innings back on the track and India actually started the chase. Ishan’s 58, Surya’s 80 and Rinku’s quick 22 helped India to finish the game on the winning corner.
Fast bowler Jason Behrendorff confirmed that everyone is available for selection for this match. Now three experienced and really dangerous players Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, and Adam Zampa might be part of Australian Playing 11.
Australia didn’t have any prominent off-spinner in their playing 11 in the last match and that made it a lot easier for Ishan and Rinku Singh to throw their bat but Glenn Maxwell’s off-breaks against India’s stream of left-handers would not be a bad idea.
The team could ideally stick to their winning combination but it would come with the familiar constraint of operating with four frontline bowlers and the all-round skills of Axar Patel. The bowlers were not up to the mark in the last outing and this might be due to the fact that the surface was a pure belter and no such help for the bowlers.
Fortunately, Thiruvananthapuram has a somewhat more spin-friendly ground, so Tilak Varma could roll his arm over. However, he is the only player who can bowl in the top six.
During India’s practice session on match eve, bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule had some one-on-one time with Washington Sundar and Jitesh Sharma, who did not participate in the opening Twenty20 International.

Tilak Varma: “I like finishing games too and I am learning from Rinku [Singh]. He’s doing it very consistently for India”
Jason Behrendorff: “They are all pretty good players and may be trying to keep them guessing, just to stay one step ahead which is hard to do at times. Maybe do what we can in terms of change in pace, line, and length.”
