IND vs AUS: After a heartbreaking loss to Australia in the last game, Team India will be hoping to seal the series with a victory in the fourth T20I. Centurion Ruturaj Gaikwad’s efforts were in vain as the Aussies won thanks to Glenn Maxwell’s unbeaten knock of 104 runs from just 48 balls. Maxwell single-handedly kept the Men in Yellow alive in the five-match T20i series. The Men in Blue, led by Suryakumar Yadav, currently lead the series 2-1.

In terms of batting, the Indian team has been really good, as the batting unit has managed to score 200+ runs in the previous 3 matches of this series. Bowling is where the Men in Blue are struggling. While the spinners have performed well in the first three matches of this series, without the trio of Bumrah, Shimi, and Siraj, the pace bowling unit has leaked a lot of runs and seems to have no answer to stop the run flow of the Australians.

Axar Patel gave away 22 runs in the 19th over, and Prasidh Krishna gave away 23 runs in the final over, which allowed Australia to win the 3rd T20 match against the men in blue to stay alive in the series. Prasidh Krishna set an unwanted record as he became the most expensive Indian bowler in T20 internationals, with figures of 0-68 next to his name.

Suryakumar-led Team India is expected to make changes in the 4th T20i. Deepak Chahar was recently added to the squad for the last remaining matches of this series and is expected to walk straightaway into the playing 11. Shreyas Iyer returns to the team as the vice captain for the remaining 2 matches and is expected to play in the 4th T20i. Prasidh Krishna had a really poor outing in the last match, and he might get replaced by Deepak Chahar for the 4th T20i.

With Shreyas Iyer’s return, Tilak Verma might have to sacrifice his spot in the playing 11 in favor of the vice captain. If Shreyas Iyer gets a chance to play in the remaining 2 matches of this series, then he is expected to bat at number 4, and the skipper, Surya Kumar Yadav, will have to bat at number 5. Rinku has done an amazing job at number 6, and his place in the starting 11 is not under threat. Mukesh Kumar missed the last match due to his wedding, so he might return to the playing 11 in place of Avesh Khan.

The Aussies are expected to make three forced changes since Glenn Maxwell, Sean Abbot, Josh Inglis, and Marcus Stoinis have flown back to Australia. Josh Phillippe, Chriss Green, Ben Mcdermott, and Ben Dwarshuis have been added to the squad as their replacements. Chris Green is expected to make his T20i debut for Australia against India in the 4th match while one of Ben Mcdermott or Josh Phillippe might take Josh Inglis’s spot in the playing 11.There’s uncertainty regarding the fitness of Kane Richardson, as he was not able to bowl all 4 overs in the previous match, so Ben Dwarshuis might play instead of him.
