The CRICBUZZ report states that Shreyas Iyer will require additional testing and specialized care. His participation in the ODI series against Australia will likely be decided by the selectors in Ahmedabad, or a replacement if required. They are likely to meet after the Test concludes on Monday.

According to a Cricbuzz report, Shreyas Iyer’s back scan results are out, and they are not favorable. Due to his recurring lower back pain/injury, the KKR captain is now considered to be doubtful for the ODI series against Australia. His participation in the IPL this season likewise remains an uncertainty.

It is also reported that Iyer, who was in felid on Day 3, went for a knock on Saturday evening after stumps. He experienced discomfort and pain throughout the knock. According to insiders, his back spasms were so bad that even if the situation had called for it, he could not have batted on Sunday.

We will get updated with any further news on his injury or replacement for the upcoming ODI series.
