IND vs BAN: The Indian Cricket Team has qualified for the final of the Asia Cup 2023. They have produced two magnificent performances in the Super Four stage of the tournament and have booked their berth for the summit clash. They thumped Pakistan by a massive margin of 228 runs and then followed it up with a 41-run win over Sri Lanka. The Rohit Sharma-led side will now be facing Bangladesh in their last Super Four game on Friday (15th September)

The IND vs BAN game will be an opportunity for the Indian Cricket Team to test a few players. The reports in Cricbuzz have suggested that the Men in Blue will make as many as four changes to their team for the final Super Four stage of the tournament before heading to the final.
It is learned that India is keen to include one of Suryakumar Yadav or Tilak Varma for the IND vs BAN clash. This could happen at the cost of one of the top-order batters, most likely, Virat Kohli. It is expected that Yadav will make it into the XI as he’s part of the World Cup squad.
In terms of the bowling department, the reports have suggested that Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Hardik Pandya are all set to be rested for the IND vs BAN game. The trio has played all four games in the tournament and management wants to ease their workload ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.
In their place, Mohammad Shami, Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur are all set to be included. The Indian team management wants to give game time to Shami as he will be an important bowler going into the ICC World Cup 2023. Thakur missed the last game due to conditions.
Apart from this the reports also suggested that Shreyas Iyer hasn’t regained his full fitness till now. The batter took part in an optional practice session ahead of the IND vs BAN game but is yet to regain 100% fitness. He had a back spasm ahead of the game against Pakistan and missed two games.
