Rajat Patidar IN for KL Rahul
Madhya Pradesh batter Rajat Patidar looks an automatic replacement for KL Rahul in the 2nd test against England. Though Team India has the services of Sarfaraz Khan, the team is unlikely to have him in the playing11. Patidar is placed higher in the pecking order than Sarfaraz Khan.
Kuldeep Yadav IN for Mohammad Siraj
Team India opted to head into the 1st test in Hyderabad with two pacers and three spinners. The move didn’t work out for the hosts as Siraj’s selection made no sense. Moreover, the pacer didn’t pick a single wicket in the 1st test and leaked runs to some extent.
Rohit Sharma may opt to replace Mohd Siraj with Kuldeep Yadav, who brings variation to the side. He will be a more suitable wicket-picking option for the spinning conditions.
Washington Sundar IN for Ravindra Jadeja
An injury to Ravindra Jadeja meant that the team had to look at a guy who have the batting abilities along with his bowling prowesses. It could be none other than Washington Sundar, who can replace the senior all-rounder. Though Saurabh Kumar can be another choice to replace Jadeja, the all-rounder is yet to make his test debut.
