IND vs ENG: During Day 2 of the second India vs England Test in Visakhapatnam on February 3, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was captured expressing frustration and using harsh language towards his teammates. The incident occurred at the conclusion of the 31st over with England at 143/4. Rohit Sharma appeared to be emphasizing the need for alertness among his fielders in a stern manner, using some profane language.
It’s worth noting that India faced a lackluster performance in the second innings of the Hyderabad Test, resulting in a 28-run loss. In light of this, the captain was keen on maintaining intensity on the field, preventing a repeat of the first game’s outcome where the game slipped away.

Talking about the second test, India resumed their first innings on Day 2 with a score of 336/6 in 93 overs as Yashasvi Jaiswal continued with his score of 179 runs. The Rajasthan Royals opener went on to score his first international double century in test cricket and became the third youngest batter to do so after Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar.
However, the 22-year-old didn’t get support from any other batter on the other end, as he was dismissed for 209 runs as he tried to increase the run rate. The Men in Blue were bundled out for 396 runs as the trio of James Anderson (3-47), debutant Shoaib Bashir (3-138), and Rehan Ahmed (3-65) picked up three wickets each.
Jasprit Bumrah paved the way for six England batsmen to the pavilion. With his pace, he gets the wickets of Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Tom Hartley, and Jimmy Anderson. In the face of Bumrah’s lethal bowling, the England team led by Ben Stokes was reduced to 253 runs.
