IND vs PAK: The Pakistan national cricket team is set to travel to India for the impending ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 after it gets security assurance from the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sought written security confirmation from the apex cricket body to felicitate Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup 2023.

The PCB is almost certain to receive security assurance from the ICC and the BCCI. Moreover, with BCCI making certain necessary tweaks to the ICC World Cup 2023 schedule, advocates for the cricket board’s top priority, which is the security of the participating teams and their respective players.
It’s noteworthy that the IND vs PAK game, which was originally scheduled to be held on October 15 in Ahmedabad, is now confirmed to be preponed to October 14 due to security concerns. The top security agencies in the country alarmed the BCCI of the threats amid the celebrations of Navratri in Ahmedabad.

The Men in Green will open their campaign in the showpiece event with the clash against the Netherlands on October 06, a day after the World Cup 2023 opener between England and New Zealand, in Hyderabad.
The tournament which is slated to run between October 5 and November 19, will see Pakistan play as many as 9 group-stage matches.
Their most anticipated clash with India will be staged at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14 (likely), despite, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) demand for change in the venue.
