India hasn’t won a Test series in South Africa ever and it’ll be a great opportunity for them to etch their name in record books. It’s fair to say for that skipper Rohit Sharma will have to play a huge role both as a leader as well as the batter.
The Indian captain has started his preparations for the Test series against South Africa. He was seen toiling hard in the nets. Although it wasn’t an official session but he on his own was seen getting ready for the upcoming IND vs SA series.

This has been the first time Rohit Sharma was seen batting since the ICC World Cup 2023. He was at his exceptional best in the tournament both as a captain as well as the batter. He led from the front and scored 597 runs. The right-hander was spot on with his captaincy and led team to finals.
But it wasn’t a fairy tale ending for him as India lost in the final. The Test series against South Africa will be an opportunity for him to make up for the world final loss. It’ll be a historical moment if India defeats South Africa in their own backyard.
Rohit Sharma since the last few years has been India’s best Test batter. Ever since he started opening the batting, he has been nothing short of exceptional. The discipline that he has shown as Test batter is something to cherish and would be hoping to lead from the front in the Test series.
