IND vs WI: India is all set to tour West Indies in July and August. They will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. The two teams will be seen in action in Tests first, which will be played from 12th July to 24th July followed by ODIs that are slated to be played from 27th July to August 1st. The five-match T20Is are scheduled to take place from 4th August to 13th August.

After the one-month-long break, the India team will finally be seen in action this month. The Rohit Sharma-led outfit has reached the Caribbean and has begun its preparations for the series. The focus will be on the Tests first as it will mark the series for India in the new edition of the ICC WTC.
They would be looking to start fresh as they recently lost the final of the ICC World Test Championship against Australia. After that BCCI made quite a few changes to the squad and removed some key players from the team and gave maiden call-ups to young players, which nothing but depicts the roadmap of the future.
The first Test is just around a week away from now. Indian team reached the Carribean early so that they can overcome jet lag as well. They have got their feet running now and have started the net sessions. However, this won’t be enough for them as they will be having net sessions.

The India team will be playing two practice as reported by Cricbuzz. BCCI has requested Cricket West Indies for First Class matches. It won’t be a proper practice match instead, it will be an inter squad game with some of the local players joining the Indian team for practice games.
This will help the India team to get used to the conditions as it’ll be an important series for them considering the WTC.
