Ravindra Jadeja’s being excluded from the squad owing to an injury which he sustained during the Asia Cup means Ravichandran Ashwin is now going to be India’s first option amongst the spinners during the World T20.
Despite lack of chances, the 35-year-old has picked 5 wickets in 5 T20Is so far in 2022. He will be a major part of India’s bowling department during the World T20.
