India coach Ravi Shastri takes the shot of Covid-19 vaccine in Ahmedabad.
Tema India’s current head coach, Ravi Shastri on Tuesday shared a photo of him getting covid-19 inoculation. Shastri received the first shot of the vaccine at City Hospital Ahmedabad.
India’s vaccine drive entered its second phase on Monday and all the peoples who are above 60 and those over 45 with co-morbidities will be given the preference this time.
The second phase began with the shot to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who took the first shot in AIIMS Delhi.

Ravi Shastri is 58 years old and thanked the staff and doctors of Apollo Hospital for their support and co-operation. “Got the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Thank you to the amazing medical professionals & scientists for empowering India against the pandemic,” the former India cricketer tweeted.
“Extremely impressed with the professionalism shown by Kantaben & her team at Apollo, Ahmedabad in dealing with COVID-19 vaccination.”
However, there is no clarity whether other members of the Indian management also took the shot or not.
Indian contingent and their English counterpart are currently preparing for the last test match at Ahmedabad. The fourth test will begin on 04th March and will decide whether India will compete against New Zealand in ICC World Test Championship or Australia.
The series is right now in India’s favour with a 2-1 lead with two back to back wins after the defeat in the first test game in Chennai.
