India playing 11 for the first test against England Prediction
The Indian Cricket Team is all set to lock horns with England Cricket Team in the five-match test series. The Test series will begin with the first test at Headingley in Leeds, set to be played on 20th June. The game will also mark the start of the new edition of the ICC World Test Championship.
This will also mark the beginning of a new era in Indian cricket. This is because Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have retired, and it will be a young team under the leadership of Shubman Gill. Hence, it will be a massive challenge for the team and also a great opportunity for the side to show something special.
Coming to the Indian playing XI, it is expected that Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul will open the innings. The duo has been doing a great job, and a lot would be reliant on them as well, going ahead into the series. At three, Sai Sudharsan is expected to bat. He is likely to make his debut.
Skipper Shubman is expected to take the number spot followed by vice-captain Rishabh Pant at five. At 6, Karun Nair is expected to bat. He will be making his comeback into the team after 2017 and would want to do something special on his return.
Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy are expected to be the two all-rounders. Both are expected to play a massive part with the bat and ball. They were decent in Australia and would want to carry the same form in the upcoming England series.
India is expected to go with three pacers. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will no doubt be there, while one of Prasidh Krishna or Arshdeep Singh will be there as a third pacer.
