It’s time for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The mega event will take place in the United States of America (USA) and the Caribbean in June this year. The tournament will begin on 1st June and the final is all set to take place on 30th June.
A total of 55 matches will be played between 20 teams locking horns with each other. This will be the first time in history that this many teams will take part in the tournament.

Going into the T20 World Cup 2024, India will be one of the favourites to win the tournament. With the brand of cricket that they have played in the shortest format of the game of late has been magnificent and it won’t be a surprise if they do something special.

The reports claim that 1st May is the deadline given by ICC to all the teams for the squad announcement. With the Indian squad for the tournament set to be announced one month ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, the IPL 2024 becomes extremely important for the players.
It’s fair to say that BCCI will pick a team for the T20 World Cup 2024 on the basis of the current form. Therefore first phase of the IPL 2024 becomes extremely crucial for the Indian players. The league will begin on 22nd March and will end on 26th May.
