The India tour of England will begin on the 1st of July. The tour begins with the 5th Test Match of the series that was played last year and will further feature 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The Indian Team will be keen on getting its combinations perfect. Because if that’s not the case, the England team can capitalize on any of the mistakes. The India tour of England has a lot in store for cricket lovers. So, who are the big players who can spoil India’s party? Who are the players who will wage the war on India? Here is an in-depth look:

1) Joe Root can be a Threat on the India Tour of England:

Joe Root is a big threat to the Indian team. Joe Root and Steve Smith are two players who come into their own when they play against India. Joe was having an impeccable season last year. He dominated almost every series that he featured in. 2021 began with the Sri Lanka series and from then on, Joe was on fire. He tonked every Indian bowler in India and England as well. In his home series, he slammed 3 hundred in 4 test matches against the Indians. His record is very impressive.

2) Ben Stokes:

Sir Ben Stokes and his recent form are a big point of concern for the Indian team. It is not Ben’s batting that causes the problem but his scoring rate that makes things more difficult. He scores at almost run a ball if he gets going. He hits the ball down the track, over mid-wicket, and even over cover. He has a good game against spin. His dominance while on the pitch is unmatched. Two things that the Indian team can work on are to bowl outside off-stump to Ben in the initial phase of his innings and hope he nicks one to the keeper.

3) Jos Butler can be a Threat on the India Tour of England:

After making a mockery of the bowlers in the TATA IPL 2022 season. Jos Butler has carried that form to the international level. Jos is bossing every format. So, it is about time he showed his authority over the red ball. The Indian team needs a good plan to deal with Butler and his form. Ishant Sharma was the one who made Butler his bunny but he hasn’t been picked for the tour. Mohammad Siraj can emulate Ishant’s plan of the in-swinging ball outside off stump.
