The Men in Blue are set to play three ODIs followed by five matches T20I series in West Indies.
The tour will begin on July 22 and run until August 7. Notably, India will conclude its England tour on July 17 and those named in the white ball squad against West Indies would travel directly to the Caribbean.
While the final two T20I matches are scheduled to be played in Fort Lauderhill, Florida in the USA to cater the Indian diaspora, the prior fixtures (3 ODIs and the first three T20Is) will be staged across Trinidad and Tobago and St Kitts & Nevis.
USA’s Broward County Stadium in Florida will host the final two T20I matches on August 6 and 7 respectively.
“We have a young team that is eager to restore the brand of cricket the West Indies team is known for playing,” said Nicholas Pooran, who has been appointed West Indies’ skipper recently.
“As I take charge of this team, our ambition is to always be competitive, as we look to use this series to fine tune our preparations for the upcoming T20 and 50 Over World Cups.”
