India vs Australia, South Africa T20I and ODI Schedule 2022: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced India’s home limited overs series against Australia and South Africa before the T20I World Cup 2022. The Aussies will tour India for three matches T20I series and South Africa will tour India for three matches T20I and as many games ODI series.
The T20I series against Australia will begin on 20th September in Mohali while the second and third matches of the series will be played on 23rd and 25th September in Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.
The South Africa tour of India is slated to commence on 28th September in Thiruvananthpuram with the three-match T20I series. Besides Thiruvananthpuram, Guwahati and Indore will be used as the next two venues for the three-match T20I series.
“The second T20I will be played on October 2, 2022, Gandhi Jayanti, to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Guwahati, followed by the last T20I at Indore,” the BCCI said.
Meanwhile, the ODI series against South Africa will start on 6th October in Lucknow. After Lucknow, both India and South Africa will head to Ranchi for the second ODI before coming to Delhi for the concluding match of the series.

The home tour of Australia and South Africa will provide India with a perfect warm-up setting before the all-important World Cup 2022 action. The series against Australia will be of utmost importance as they are the defending champions and the host of the T20 World Cup 2022 in October-November.
Currently, India is on a tour of the West Indies for three ODIs and five-match T20I series. The visitors have already sealed the ODI series and are on the path to putting their authority in the T20I series.
The Indian side will tour Zimbabwe for three ODIs after the conclusion of the ongoing Caribbean tour following which the Men in Blue will move to the UAE for the Asia Cup 2022.
