India vs England ODI Squad: BCCI announced India’s ODI squad against England.

India vs England ODI Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced India’s One Day International squad for the three games series starting 23rd March. Hero of the last T20I game against England, Suryakumar Yadav have earned a maiden call-up along with pacer Prasidh Krishna and Krunal Pandya.

All the three ODIs will be played in Maharashtra Cricket Stadium, Pune. As per the recent reports from BCCI all the games will be held behind the closed gates due to the surge in the Covid-19 cases in the state.

Team India’s stalwart duo Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be seen in action as none of them opted for rest. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been called in the squad after getting dropped in the Australia tour’s white-ball leg.

Ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar will also make his return to the national ODI side after recovering from his injury lately. Washington Sundar will also mark his comeback after December 2017.

Spinner Krunal Pandya and pacer Prasidh Krishna have been rewarded with national call post their scintillating performances in the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy games.

Newly married Jasprit Bumrah has been given rest to spend time with his family and not included in the ODI squad. Mohammad Shami who sustained a thumb fracture in the Australia-India test series is also not fit for the selection.

Pace sensation T Natarajan has regained his fitness and named in the playing 11 for India’s ODI squad against England.
