India vs England: Records Tumble as India defeated England by 10 wickets in the 3rd Test match.

India vs England: Axar Patel’s sheer brilliance with the ball as he claimed an 11-wicket hall and defeated England by 10 wickets in the third Pink ball test inside two days. With the loss, England’s hopes for the ICC World Test Championship final are also dead. While India is still in the race along with Australia. If India manages to win or at least draw the last test game against England, then India will play the final against New Zealand, however, if England wins the last test game, Australia will go to the final.

The short game of Test Cricket was displayed at the revamped Narendra Modi Stadium which ended within two days and just 844 deliveries were bowled.

Axar Patel getting best figures in D/N tests: England batsmen had no answers to Patel’s accuracy. He picked six wickets in the first innings while five in the third to end England’s run to ICC World Test Championship. Now he has three 5 wickets haul in four test innings.

Ashwin enters 400 wickets club:

Ravichandran Ashwin added four more wickets to the three he picked in the first innings to enter the 400 wickets club in the Test Cricket. He is the fourth Indian to enter the milestone after Anil Kumble (619), Kapil Dev (434) and Harbhajan Singh (417).

He also becomes the second-fastest cricketer in the world to bag 400 wickets in just 77 test games.

Virat Kohli most successful Indian test captain:

Team India skipper Virat Kohli with the win at Narendra Modi Stadium surpasses former cricketer MS Dhoni at the number of test wins at home. Virat Kohli has now 22 wins while MS Dhoni had 21.
