India vs Sri Lanka 2nd T20I Prediction, Playing11, Pitch Report, Dream11 Fantasy Tips

India vs Sri Lanka 2nd T20I Prediction: The Rohit Sharma led team India gave a tough drubbing to the visitors of island nation (Sri Lanka) in the 1st T20I, held in Lucknow. India conquered the Lankan challenge easily and defeated them by a massive 62 runs to fetch the lead. With the win, India marked its 10th straight win in the T20Is since the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

The hosts had several shining stars who performed and repaid the faith shown on them. Opener batsman Ishan Kishan scored a blistering knock of 89 runs while Shreyas Iyer proved he can very well finish the game and score quickfire runs for the team.

In the bowling department, all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer was brilliant. He scalped two wickets, though he went for a few runs. India also welcomed back ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and pacer Jasprit Bumrah to the squad.

Meanwhile, the visitors had their issues on the field. The batsman couldn’t get acclimatised to the situation easily, which could be the reason for their failure in the 1st T20I. Even the bowlers failed big time to restrict the Indian batters to hit boundaries.

It is noteworthy that Sri Lanka has never won a T20I series in India since December 2009. In the four attempts to defeat India in its own backyard, the Lankan Lions have not been able to solve the trick to thrash the mighty Indians.

India vs Sri Lanka 2nd T20I Pitch Report from Dharmshala:

Dharamshala offers a fine track for the batsman to score runs, but the seamers get plenty of assistance from the pitch. It is a fast track that will certainly aid the pacer. Unfortunately, we have some showers during the second T20I, while the forecast is completely clear for the third T20I on Sunday.

In the six matches played here, teams batting first and setting target have won on four occasions while the chasing side has only managed to be victorious in two games.
