ENGvsIND: Senior Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is deemed doubtful for the upcoming fourth test match against England as he has sustained a knee injury during the third test match at Leeds against England.
The southpaw was on Saturday taken to the hospital for precautionary scans to measure the extent of his knee injury. Jadeja sustained a blow on his knee during day two of the third test match which India lost by an innings and 76 runs.
The Indian management and Jadeja himself informed his fans about his recent visit to the hospital. The cricketer shared an image of him wearing the hospital apparel and captioned, “Not a good place to be at.”

There are no updates provided following the scans of the cricketer. As per the reports, the injury is not very serious and concerning for the team and the cricketer, however, Jadeja may have to warm the benches in the fourth test match in order to get a complete recovery.
Team India will leave for the Oval, London on 30th August as per the schedule. England and India will once again lock horns in the penultimate test match at Kennington Oval on September 2.
The experts believe that ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will replace Ravindra Jadeja in the playing11 for the coming test match. The track at Oval offers help to the slower bowlers and Ashwin will be very crucial for India’s plans in the match.
As of now, the five matches test series is evenly poised with both teams getting an edge over each other one-one time in the first three matches. The fourth and fifth tests will be deciding matches for both teams.
England reflected back tremendously after the loss in the second test match and annihilated India right from day one in the third test match at Headingley.
