The BCCI had earlier asked all the Indian players to take the Covishield vaccine, which is a version of Oxford AstraZeneca. The vaccine will be available in England so that the players can get their second doses there.
“Covishield is a version of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine available in England. This will help the BCCI to administer the second dose to the players in England,” a BCCI source had said.
India will take on New Zealand in the summit clash ICC World Test Championship on June 18. Thereafter the Indian contingent will have a month-long break before locking horns against England in a five games test series.
