Watch: Mohd Rizwan engage in heated exchange with Marco Jansen during Pakistan vs South Africa match | ICC World Cup 2023

Watch: Mohd Rizwan engage in heated exchange with Marco Jansen during Pakistan vs South Africa match: Things got a bit spiced up during the ongoing Pakistan vs South Africa contest at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai when Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batter Mohd Rizwan came face to face with fiery Protea pacer Marco Jansen. The two had a verbal exchange early in the innings, a glimpse of which is shared below in this article.

After sending both the Pakistani openers packing quite early in the innings, South Africa pacer Marco Jansen was on fire as he nearly grabbed another scalp of Mohd Rizwan, who had just arrived in the crease.

The very first delivery faced by Mohd Rizwan was an impressively disguised slower one from Marco Jansen which deceived the batter. Rizwan failed to recognise the slower delivery and tried to defend it, however, the ball got chipped in the air towards the right of the bowler. Jansen dived towards his right to catch the ball, but couldn’t hold onto it and Mohd Rizwan got a lifeline in the very first delivery.

Below is the video…

In the next delivery, which was directed full outside the off stump, Rizwan was ready to pounce on it. The delivery took the leading edge of Rizwan’s blade and flew to the third man area.

Rizwan’s early survival and then a lucky boundary off the leading edge didn’t please Marco Jansen who hurled a few words towards the batter as he returned to his bowling mark for the final delivery of the over. Rizwan too couldn’t hold himself and took part in the heated exchange with Jansen. The two even had a couple of stares before it came to the verbal altercations.

Marco Jansen delivered a good length delivery to end his eventful over. Rizwan shouldered his arms as the delivery nipped back in a little bit. As the delivery was completed, the pacer was again seen having a go at the batter, who then welcomed the bowler with his arms wide open.

The incident that began with a fierce exchange ended with some laughter as Rizwan responded with a big smile and even the umpire couldn’t hold himself taking a fist bump with Mohd Rizwan after completion of the over.

Below is the video of Mohd Rizwan engage in heated exchange with Marco Jansen during Pakistan vs South Africa game in Chennai:

Pakistan Former Skipper Imran Khan’s Bail rejected by Pakistan Court: On October 27, 2023, Imran Khan’s petition for bail and cancellation of FIR for the Cipher Case was rejected by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). In response to this, Imran Khan’s Lawyer, Naeem Panju, said they would challenge the decision made by the Pakistani court.

Imran Khan, The Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and former Captain of the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team, was accused of leaking a secret diplomatic cable (Cipher), which had confidential details with United States Diplomat in Washington, US.

The Special Court was scheduled for October 27 to review the petitions filed by Imran Khan but under the charges of violating the Law of Country’s secrets. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi are accused of mismanaging the diplomatic cable.

What is the Cipher Case against the Pakistan Former Skipper Imran Khan?

IND vs ENG will be one of the most exciting contests of the ICC World Cup 2023. It’ll be a crucial game for both the teams as for India a win would almost ensure a place in the semi-finals. Whereas for England, a win is a must as otherwise they would be ruled out of the tournament.

Coming to the Indian playing 11, skipper Rohit Sharma along with Shubman Gill are expected to open the innings. Talking about the captain, he has unleashed his beast mode in the tournament and is amongst the leading run-getters in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Gill on the other hand is yet to fire in a tournament. But he has been in the red hot form. The IND vs ENG game will be a great opportunity for him to reclaim his take-back. At No.3, there’s no doubt that Virat Kohli will be there. He’s India’s leading run-getter for his team and has been batting like a dream.

At No.4, it is expected that Shreyas Iyer will be there. The middle-order batter has got starts but has failed to convert them. Therefore for him, IND vs ENG will be important. KL Rahul is likely to keep the wickets. He has been in fine touch and has been carrying middle order pretty well.

Lucknow surface assists spinners more. We might have India playing three spinners in the XI. Ravichandran Ashwin is expected to make a comeback in the XI. Along with him, it is expected that Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja will be two spin bowling options.

India might go with just two spinners in the game. Mohammed Shami, who picked five wickets in the last game, might have to sit out. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are expected to be the two front-line pacers.

One of the key players to watch out for in IND vs ENG will be Shubman Gill. The youngster is the best batter in the ODIs this year but hasn’t yet fired in the World Cup. The big score is on cards for him and it won’t be a surprise if it comes in the game against England. He has looked in good touch and would be eager to score big.

Another player that would be under the spotlight is Kuldeep Yadav. The leg-spinner has looked quite threatening in the tournament and would be eager to bowl on the Lucknow pitch. He’s expected to set the stage on fire in IND vs ENG.

PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, Weather Forecast of Chennai, and Pitch Report. Who Will Win Pakistan vs South Africa ICC World Cup 2023?

PAK vs SA: A do-or-die match for Pakistan and a table-topping opportunity for South Africa, two different teams, and two different journeys. They had a similar start though, winning the first two games comprehensively and then losing the third. Now, after halfway through the ICC World Cup, Pakistan will square off against South Africa on 27 October at MA Chidambaram Stadium. This post will walk you through the PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, the Weather Forecast of Chennai, and the Pitch Report. We will also predict who will win Pakistan vs South Africa.

Pakistan and South Africa have faced each other in 5 matches in ICC ODI World Cup tournaments. Out of these 5 games, Pakistan have won 2 whereas South Africa have come out victorious on 3 occasions. They have played 82 ODIs against each other, where South Africa won 51 and Pakistan won 30 with 1 being washed away.

This World Cup started on a similar note for both teams, three matches- 2 wins and a loss but South Africa bounced back stronger and Pakistan are still in search of the winning formula. Pakistan have lost 3 out of 5 and one more loss would cost them the World Cup dream. Head Coach of Pakistan Mickey Arthur said “We said in the changing room the other night that we have got six matches to win the World Cup. We have to get on a streak and win six in a row.”

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka
PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, Weather Forecast of Chennai, and Pitch Report. Who Will Win Pakistan vs South Africa ICC World Cup 2023? 9

Imam-Ul-Haq has been out of form for quite a while now if we put a glimpse against Australia(70) aside. Fakhar Zaman is fit and probably will replace him in the playing 11. Hasan Ali is ruled out of the PAK vs SA game and Mohammad Wasim Jr might fill his void. Haris Rauf is taking wickets but he is being too expensive so you might see another spinner playing in his place.

Pakistan have played a total of 3 matches at Chepauk (MA Chidambaram Stadium) and defeated India twice on that ground but lost to Afghanistan the last night. South Africa, on the other hand, have lost both of their matches at the venue.

While Temba Bavuma is slated to replace Reeza Hendricks. Pakistan’s performance against left-arm leg-spin is unsatisfactory. Given the history of the position, the South African captain also said that Tabraiz Shamsi is expected to participate in this match.

Down below is the PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, Weather Forecast of Chennai, Pitch Report, and Prediction of who will win the Pakistan vs South Africa match:

PAK vs SA Rain Prediction

PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, Weather Forecast of Chennai, and Pitch Report. Who Will Win Pakistan vs South Africa ICC World Cup 2023?
PAK vs SA Rain Prediction, Weather Forecast of Chennai(weather.com)

A hot but overcast day in Chennai City. Chennai has very hot and scorchy kind of weather throughout the year. Today, on 27 October 2023, the temperature of Chennai City is expected to peak at 32°C in the afternoon and drop further as the sun goes down.

Humidity is predicted to hover between 70-80% in the match hours and winds will gust towards the East at a speed of <12Kmh during the day.

PAK vs SA Rain Prediction

There are very minimal chances of rain in Chennai City of Tamil Nadu. The rain possibility is around 5% during the match hours, however, there are around 25% chances of rain in the morning time. There will be ~40% of the sky covered under clouds. An overcast day for Pakistan vs South Africa is what weather.com predicts. Though, as it is aforementioned, the weather here in Chennai is usually hot so expect a tough day for athletes on the ground.

Pitch Report of MA Chidambaram Stadium

MA Chidambaram Stadium, also called Chepauk, is a pitch that is well-known for being spin-friendly and welcoming to spinners and skilled spin players. There are many of quality spinners and spin-playing batsmen in both Pakistan and South Africa, thus this contest will be well-matched.

Pacers have had a better average and strike rate at Chepauk in this World Cup compared to spinners. While 31 wickets have fallen to pace so far, only 19 wickets have been picked by spinners.

The initial bounce and carry of the pitch usually provide seam bowlers with a degree of comfort. As the game goes on, spinners get the upper hand, and hitting can become challenging as the pitch becomes softer in the latter innings. If a captain wins the toss, he may decide to bat first and put up a high total.

Who will Win Pakistan vs South Africa?

Pakistan have good spinners in their team. But their struggle against Chinamen bowlers is quite visible. Though Babar and Rizwan are excellent when it comes to playing against spin, Pakistan will be on the back foot. South Africa are in golden touch in comparison to Pakistan and they have Shamsi in their squad ready to attack.

Though the contest is neck-to-neck as it is a spin-friendly surface, South Africa will win the game owing to their better batting line-up and in-form fast bowling.

PAK vs SA Dream11 Prediction 26th Match World Cup 2023 | Pakistan vs South Africa Dream11 Team, MA Chidambaram Stadium Pitch Report, Pakistan Playing 11

PAK vs SA Dream11 Prediction: Underwhelming Pakistan is set to lock horns against overwhelming South Africa in match number 26 of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 on October 27. The contest will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, starting at 2:00 PM IST. This article will lead you through PAK vs SA Dream11 Prediction 26th Match World Cup 2023 | Pakistan vs South Africa Dream11 Team, MA Chidambaram Stadium Pitch Report, Pakistan Playing 11.

Pakistan’s campaign in the ICC World Cup 2023 has taken a deep dive following three consecutive losses in the last three fixtures. It started with India beating Pakistan at the world’s largest cricket stadium and then Australia and Afghanistan followed a similar suit to embarrass the Pakistanis.

Their last loss against Afghanistan will hurt them as no one expected this coming, especially from Pakistan’s side which was once touted to be the favourites of the ICC World Cup 2023 in India.

Meanwhile, South Africa has been on a winning spree in the World Cup 2023. The Proteas started off their campaign with two wins and then suffered a loss, but the team again got into the groove with two consecutive wins. Most of South Africa’s victories in the World Cup 2023 have come convincingly.

The team has plundered the scores of more than 300 more often than not and even went on to put up a 400-run total in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

It will be quite a challenging task for Pakistan to face the in-form side, which just senses the blood and hunts it down with sheer accuracy.

PAK vs SA Dream11 Prediction Today Match

Although South Africa has dominated in the ongoing tournament, the upcoming challenge will be interesting for them. They have played most of their matches on fairly decent batting tracks, but MA Chidambaram is tricky and doesn’t offer much assistance to the batters. Hence, it will be crucial to see how both teams take their chances.

Knowing the spin will come into play at some point in the game, consider having spinners in the team. The good players of spin will succeed in the posed challenge between Pakistan and South Africa. Moreover, don’t forget to pick pacers as they have also had a good impact on the games in the World Cup.

MA Chidambaram Stadium Pitch Report, Pakistan vs South Africa

While MA Chidambaram historically has been in favour of the spinners, the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 is an exception to some extent. Although we have seen some turn at this venue for the spinners, the Pacers have also been amongst wickets and it has never been just a one-sided affair. Three of the four matches have been won chasing at this venue in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023.

PAK vs SA: Hasan Ali Ruled Out of Pakistan vs South Africa Game ICC World Cup 2023

PAK vs SA: Huge blow for Pakistan team as Hasan Ali has been ruled out of Pakistan vs South Africa game. Pakistan are scheduled to face South Africa on 27 October at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. It is a must-win match for Pakistan. They have already lost three matches out of 5 and one more loss, it will be the end of the World Cup dream for them.

The Pakistan cricket team’s already complicated quest to qualify for the semi-finals has been made much more difficult by this development. Since Hasan Ali was unable to take part in the team’s practice yesterday, supporters and cricket fanatics alike were deeply troubled by his absence.

PCB on Hasan Ali’s Unavailability

Releasing a statement on Hasan Ali’s unavailability, PCB wrote, “Fast bowler Hasan Ali has been ruled out of Pakistan’s World Cup match against South Africa on Friday in Chennai. Hassan Ali is currently unwell and sat out the training session on Thursday.”

“The right-arm pacer suffered fever last night, but he is recovering well. The PCB medical panel has advised him to rest, in order to recover fully ahead of the remaining games.”

Sources indicate that Muhammad Wasim Jr. would probably be picked in the starting eleven against South Africa to fill in for Hasan Ali. Given Hasan Ali’s status as a crucial fast bowler, this move may have an effect on the team’s bowling lineup and strategy.

The Pakistan cricket team’s World Cup campaign has been quite the roller coaster, with exciting wins against cricketing Sri Lanka and Netherlands, they then lost to heavyweights like Australia and India on October 14 and 20, respectively, and a difficult match against Afghanistan on October 23.

Pakistan’s hopes of qualifying for the World Cup now depend on overcoming this challenging hurdle. Pakistan may still advance to the semifinals with four group games remaining, but there won’t be much room for error.

All-arounder Shadab Khan of Pakistan emphasized yesterday that his underachieving teammates still think “miracles can happen” as the defending champions face a “do-or-die” struggle to turn around their dismal World Cup campaign.

World Cup 2023 Points Table (OCT 26) after England vs Sri Lanka, England nearly ELIMINATED from ODI World Cup 2023

World Cup 2023 Points Table: England’s campaign in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 has gone from poor to worse as they registered another humiliating loss in the tournament, this time against Sri Lanka. The Lankan Lions trounced England by eight wickets to seal their second win of the event.

The defending champions are completely in shambles in the ongoing edition of the World Cup. They were humiliated by the Afghans, a few days ago, post which England got a brutal hammering against South Africa by 229 runs and now Sri Lanka has joined the bandwagon to further put a dent in their confidence.

Talking about the contest, England never found their feet against Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The surface was two-paced and it required the batters to get set before having a go at the bowler. However, none of that was applied by the England batters.

All-rounder Ben Stokes was the lone contributor for the team with a score of 43 runs in 73 deliveries. Stokes held his end firmly but he couldn’t find a compatriot who could aid him from the other end of the pitch.

The English openers looked decent but the partnership was broken at a score of 45 runs. Following the opening breakthrough, England lost wickets in clusters and there was no path for recovery for them. England were bowled out at a meagre score of 156 runs in 33.2 overs.

Lahiru Kumara was the pick of the bowlers with three scalps, while Angelo Mathews and Rajitha got two apiece.

Sri Lanka’s chase, although, got two early jitters as they lost two wickets cheaply, but they got back on the track following a match-winning partnership between Prathum Nissanka and Sadeera Samarawickrama. The two added 137 runs and took their team home against England in Bengaluru. Sri Lanka won the game by eight wickets chasing down the total in just 25.4 overs.
