IND vs PAK: Pakistan playing 11 for the game against India in the ICC World Cup Prediction

IND vs PAK: An ODI match between India and Pakistan on Indian soil and the stage of the ICC World Cup, the stakes are already at a record height for match number 12 of the ICC World Cup 2023 IND vs PAK. The biggest of the rivalries and most exciting and awaited contest of the World Cup is around the corner and this post covers Pakistan playing 11 for the IND vs PAK game in the ICC World Cup Prediction.

The contest between two Asian giants India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played on 13 October at the biggest cricket stadium of the World-Narendra Modi Stadium, having a capacity of over 1,20,000 spectators. The craze of the IND vs PAK battle is so big that after the complete houseful of hotels in Ahmedabad, the fans have even booked hospital beds for the match night. The match will start at 2:00 PM IST.

Pakistan entered the tournament as one of the best teams who have that much potential to enter the semis of the World Cup. The Skipper Babar Azam has been out of form on some of his recent outings. In his last 5 ODIs, he has failed to score even 30 runs in an innings. His scores in last 5 ODI innings are- 17(22), 10(34), 29(35), 5(18), and 10(15).

IND vs PAK: Pakistan playing 11 for the game against India in the ICC World Cup Prediction
IND vs PAK: Babar Azam clean bowled by Hardik Pandya

The first three of these 5 innings were in the Super 4s of the Asia Cup 2023 and the remaining are in the World Cup. These numbers are not so impressive but Babar Azam is a class player and expect him to score runs in a big match against India.

Mohammad Rizwan has been in good touch and has lifted the middle-order burden over his shoulders and we can expect him to perform against India as well. Apart from Babar and Imam, the top-order looks stable and in good shape.

IND vs PAK: Pakistan playing 11 for the India vs Pakistan game

Abdullah Shafique showed his brilliance in the last match against Sri Lanka where this right-handed opener powered a century. Not confirmed about Imam but Shafique is definitely going to be in Playing 11.

Skipper Babar Azam will be there at Number 3. Following him is the match-winner batter Mohammed Rizwan who took his to victory in both of Pakistan’s matches in this World Cup. Saud Shakeel has also been promising in the middle for quite a while now.

Coming to the allrounder section, Iftikhar Ahmed has more been of a batter than a right-arm off-spinner. His brutal hitting gives him some extra points to be in the playing 11 as there is no other option for the Pakistan team other than him.

Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan won the match against Nepal by 238 runs, Skipper Babar Azam Knocked 151 runs

Shadab Khan was excellent with the ball and so was Mohammed Nawaz. Both of them are sure to make it to the playing 11s. What a comeback Hasan Ali has displayed! He has taken the first over wicket in both of the matches till now in this World Cup and it will be quite interesting to see what he has to show against Rohit Sharma.

Shaheen Afridi has recovered from his finger injury and is fit to play and his partner, the pace battery Haris Rauf will be there with him against India.

World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated (October 13) after Australia vs South Africa, South Africa at NO 1, Highest Run Getter, Most Wickets, All Stats

World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated: Australia continues its World Cup 2023 woes with yet another defeat in the tournament. This time Australia was severely hammered by South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, last night. With the win, South Africa climbs to the top of the World Cup 2023 Points Table, while Australia slumps to the penultimate position. This article will lead you through the World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated (October 13) after Australia vs South Africa, South Africa at NO 1, Highest Run Getter, Most Wickets, All Stats.

It’s not often that the Australians click late in the World Cup events. The ICC tournaments and Australia carry a long-standing fruitful partnership, but this time it’s going all against them. In the two games of the ICC World Cup 2023, Australia lost both that too with some distance.

In the opening game, India hunted down Australia, and yesterday, it was South Africa, which pulled all its strings to dismantle the mighty Aussies.

On the tacky surface in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, where everyone thought 250 to be a good reputable total, the Proteas went on to amass 311 runs in their quota of 5o overs. Wicketkeeper batter Quinton de Kock scored his second consecutive century of the World Cup 2023 and Aiden Markram contributed with a nice half-century, while other batters too made their efforts with small yet viable contributions.

It was always going to be about the chase, as South Africa had amassed a massive total on a slowish track, which has a history of aiding bowlers to a larger extent. History shows the rise of Australians in high-pressure situations, but this time they all crumbled one by one.

Starting with the scalp of Mitchell Marsh, South Africa’s wicket-taking spree went to David Warner and then Steve Smith. By the time Aussies could recollect anything, they were three wickets down. To make things worse, they lost three more wickets in the next seven overs at a score of 60 runs. Australia was six down at a score of 70 runs.

By this time the five-times World Cup champions had got the indication that this game was far from their reach and the efforts to salvage their net run rate had begun. Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Starc put up a partnership to reduce the winning margin for the South Africans, but it didn’t take long for the Proteas to bowl out Australia at a score of 177 runs and win their second game of the World Cup 2023.

The win fetched by South Africa got them two more rating points in the World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated after the game. Owing to the massive win by 134 runs, South Africa took a leap and climbed up to the top of the ICC World Cup 2023 Points Table.

Below is everything you need to know about World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated (October 13) after Australia vs South Africa, South Africa at NO 1, Highest Run Getter, Most Wickets, All Stats.

ICC World Cup 2023 Points Table Updated after Australia vs South Africa

With a total of 4 points, South Africa reaches the summit of the World Cup 2023 Points Table with a humongous net run rate of +2.360. The Proteas jumped past Pakistan, India, and New Zealand to reach to top spot.

Meanwhile, Australia drains down to the penultimate position in the latest updated World Cup 2023 Points Table. With two back-to-back losses in as many games, Australia stands in the ninth slot with a net run rate of -1.846.

NZ vs BAN Weather Forecast And Pitch Report Of MA Chidambaram Stadium | New Zealand vs Bangladesh ICC World Cup 2023

NZ vs BAN: With the overcast conditions at Chennai, the stage is all set for Kane Willamson-led New Zealand to take on Shakib al Hasan-led Bangladesh in the 11th Match of ICC World Cup 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai today starting at 02:00 PM. This post reads the NZ vs BAN Weather Forecast And Pitch Report Of MA Chidambaram Stadium.

New Zealand have been one of the strongest contenders when it comes to the ICC events. They have shown the purest form of assiduity and hard work and this tournament is no different. New Zealand started the tournament with the services of regular skipper Kane Willamson in the opening clash but he was back in the second.

New Zealand took revenge for the 2019 Final defeat to England in the opening match of the 2023 ODI World Cup. A maiden hundred by Indian-born Rachin Ravindra and a stellar 151* knock from Devon Conway utterly destroyed England’s frontline bowlers and won the match by 9 wickets.

New Zealand next fought against Netherlands in their second match. This time they batted first and posted a 300+ runs target and Mitchell Santner was the man for them that day! Santner took a Fifer in his 10 overs leaking just 59 runs and was awarded as the Player of the Match.

Bangladesh, in contrast, won the first match in some fashion against Afghanistan where they bowled out Afghans just over 150 runs and won the game by 6 wickets. Mehidy Hasan Miraj has been in great touch in recent times for them and he was the savior for them that day with his 3 wickets and 57 runs.

Next, they faced England and England ruthlessly punched the Bangladeshi bowlers and it was a one-sided affair right from the start. Shakib Al Hasan and his team lost the match by a massive 137-run margin and dealt a heavy fall in their NRR. Now they have a big match next against New Zealand and they would look to present the maximum resistance against them.

Down below is the NZ vs BAN Weather Forecast And Pitch Report Of MA Chidambaram Stadium:

NZ vs BAN Pitch Report Of MA Chidambaram Stadium

The pitch at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium has a reputation for frequently offering a level playing surface that is advantageous to both batters and bowlers. A black soil pitch might be used for the NZ vs BAN game. However, because of the dry nature of the surface, spinners often have a little edge.

Now, if we speak statistics, in 35 ODI matches played at the stadium, the side batting first won 17 matches, and equally went to the chasing team, while one game ended in a draw. The first inning’s total is often about 230.

IND vs PAK: India has kicked started the ICC World Cup 2023 on a high note. They thumped Australia by 6 wickets in the first game and then clobbered Netherlands in the second match by 8 wickets. Now the biggest challenge will be against Pakistan and they would be hoping to continue their winning run.

Coming to the playing XI, it’s no brainer that captain Rohit Sharma will be there at the top. The opening batter has been in the golden touch and smashes a staggering century against Afghanistan. There’s uncertainty about who will open with him in the IND vs PAK game.

Shubman Gill has been down with dengue. He has reached Ahmedabad and if he recovers ahead of the IND vs PAK game, there’s no doubt that he will open. But if he isn’t fit, Ishan Kishan will continue opening. He played a handy knock of 47 runs against Afghanistan.

At No.3, Virat Kohli will be there and with the kind of form he is in, he will be crucial for the team in the ICC World Cup 2023. Shreyas Iyer is likely to bat at No.4 and handle the middle-order batting with KL Rahul, who has been in fantastic form of late.

Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja no no-brainer will be the two all-rounders in the team for the IND vs PAK game. They have played a great role with the ball so far in the tournament and are expected to do the same in the next game as well as the tournament.

With the Ahmedabad pitch being flat, it’s unlikely that India will play R Ashwin in the team. There were also a lot of talks about them playing Shardul Thakur, who was poor with the ball. It’s expected that Mohammed Shami will make it into the team for IND vs PAK game.

Kuldeep Yadav along with Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah will be three frontline bowlers in the team. The trio did a terrific job in the last two games and would be eager to continue their good run.
