IND vs PAK: India has kicked started the ICC World Cup 2023 on a high note. They thumped Australia by 6 wickets in the first game and then clobbered Netherlands in the second match by 8 wickets. Now the biggest challenge will be against Pakistan and they would be hoping to continue their winning run.

Coming to the playing XI, it’s no brainer that captain Rohit Sharma will be there at the top. The opening batter has been in the golden touch and smashes a staggering century against Afghanistan. There’s uncertainty about who will open with him in the IND vs PAK game.

Shubman Gill has been down with dengue. He has reached Ahmedabad and if he recovers ahead of the IND vs PAK game, there’s no doubt that he will open. But if he isn’t fit, Ishan Kishan will continue opening. He played a handy knock of 47 runs against Afghanistan.

At No.3, Virat Kohli will be there and with the kind of form he is in, he will be crucial for the team in the ICC World Cup 2023. Shreyas Iyer is likely to bat at No.4 and handle the middle-order batting with KL Rahul, who has been in fantastic form of late.

Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja no no-brainer will be the two all-rounders in the team for the IND vs PAK game. They have played a great role with the ball so far in the tournament and are expected to do the same in the next game as well as the tournament.

With the Ahmedabad pitch being flat, it’s unlikely that India will play R Ashwin in the team. There were also a lot of talks about them playing Shardul Thakur, who was poor with the ball. It’s expected that Mohammed Shami will make it into the team for IND vs PAK game.

Kuldeep Yadav along with Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah will be three frontline bowlers in the team. The trio did a terrific job in the last two games and would be eager to continue their good run.

AUS vs SA World Cup 2023: Cameron Green OUT, Stoinis IN, Australia Playing 11 vs South Africa playing 11 | Australia vs South Africa

AUS vs SA World Cup 2023: Pat Cummins-led Australia is set to take on Temba Bavuma’s South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on October 12. The ICC World Cup 2023 match number 10 will start at 2:00 PM IST, today. This article will lead you through AUS vs SA World Cup 2023: Cameron Green OUT, Stoinis IN, Australia Playing 11 vs South Africa playing 11 | Australia vs South Africa.

Australia and South Africa had a very contrasting start to their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign, a few days ago. While the former team dipped too low on the standards to face a defeat, the latter rose very high above anyone’s standards to post a record-breaking total in the World Cup 2023 and win the game.

Pat Cummins and co were reduced to mere 199 runs by Team India in Chennai, on October 8 and the Men in Blue convincingly won the game with multiple overs to spare. On the other hand, South Africa posted a massive 428 runs against Sri Lanka in Delhi and then eventually won the contest by 102 runs.

On the other side, if we look at the recent fixtures between Australia and South Africa, signs are not looking encouraging for the mighty Aussies. South Africa defeated Australia in the 5 match ODI series held last month after winning three consecutive games at the back end of the series.

Furthermore, the surface at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow has always been conducive to the spinners. The matches during IPL 2023 and even the international games held at the venue have turned out to be fruitful for the spinners.

However, Australia hasn’t carried enough frontline spinners in its 15-member squad. Barring Adam Zampa, the team has no specialist spinner in the lineup. They have highly boasted of Glenn Maxwell and Marnus Labuschagne as spinners, but it remains to be seen if that plan works out for them.

Below is AUS vs SA World Cup 2023: Cameron Green OUT, Stoinis IN, Australia Playing 11 vs South Africa playing 11 | Australia vs South Africa.

The only change one could expect Australia to make in its playing 11 for the game against South Africa will be the inclusion of Marcus Stoinis in place of Cameron Green. Stoinis was down with a hamstring issue, however, that seems to have been fixed. Stoinis comes ahead of Green in the pecking order and hence, a change for the Aussies.

Australia Playing 11: David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey, Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins (capt), Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

AUS vs SA World Cup 2023: South Africa Playing 11

It’s quite tricky to tickle the balance of the team that has just scored over 400 runs in an ODI game and won it by 102 runs. South Africa would have required no addition to their squad, had the game been held at a decently conducive batting surface. However, with the surface tending to aid spinners, Tabraiz Shamsi may get a nod ahead of Gerald Coetzee.

South Africa Playing 11: Temba Bavuma (capt), Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi

ICC Cricket World Cup Points Table Updated (October 12) after India vs Afghanistan, India on TOP, Highest Run Getter, Most Wickets

ICC Cricket World Cup Points Table Updated: Rohit Sharma spearheaded Team India brought up its second victory of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, last night, at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium against Afghanistan. India comfortably chased 273 runs total and won the fixture by eight wickets remaining. With the win, India secured two match points, which aided them in climbing up the ICC World Cup Points Table. This article will lead you through ICC Cricket World Cup Points Table Updated (October 12) after India vs Afghanistan, India on TOP, Highest Run Getter, Most Wickets.

Riding on the back of fine knocks from skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi and Azmatullah Omarzai, Afghanistan posted 273 runs total for India. The mentioned two batters were aided by the remaining members of the Afghanistan playing 11 with small contributions. However, none besides the two mentioned, could score big and look settled against the Indian bowling.

While 273 looks like a sizable score on a normal day in business, but the pitch at Arun Jaitley Stadium had everything a batter needed. The ball was coming onto the bat nicely and not an ounce of struggle was there for the batters.

India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah scalped four wickets, vice-captain Hardik Pandya got two in his bag while Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur got one apiece in their bags.

Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan were up for the challenge of 273 runs total and their response was loud and clear. Skipper Rohit Sharma ripped apart Afghanistan’s bowling lineup during his stay in the middle, while Ishan Kishan played second fiddle to him.

Sharma eventually went on to notch up the fastest World Cup century for India as he scored 131 runs in 84 deliveries before getting bamboozled by Rashid Khan. Sharma brought up a century in just 63 deliveries. Also, he went past Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in World Cup events – Rohit Sharma has seven now.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan quietly scored 47 runs in as many balls before getting dismissed by Rashid Khan. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan were the only two wickets to fall for India.

The rest of the work was done for India by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, who completed the desired work in 35 overs with eight wickets in hand. With the win, Team India moved up in the ICC Cricket World Cup Points Table with a healthy net run rate.

When is IND vs PAK? Check India vs Pakistan Date, Time, Full Squads, Pitch report, Streaming and Broadcasting Details | ICC World Cup 2023

IND vs PAK: The biggest rivalry of white ball cricket, INDIA vs PAKISTAN is set to pump up fanatics and cricket viewers from all around the globe. The excitement, anticipation, and enthusiasm shown by cricket fans are crossing limits this time around. This post covers the IND vs PAK Date, Time, Full Squads, Pitch report, Streaming, and Broadcasting Details.

Both of the teams are at the peak of their forms and will be leading to this clash riding over dominating victories. Pakistan and India started the tournament with victories and drove that momentum to the second match. Maintaining themselves in the top Fours, India and Pakistan have 4-4 points and just differ by NRR.

India entered the tournament riding over a 2-1 ODI series victory over Australia on home soil and have been able to keep that momentum upright till now. They first defeated Australia by 6 wickets to kickstart their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign. India lost 3 early wickets in the span of the first 12 balls but Virat’s constructive 85 and KL’s firey 97* took India to the top.

India won their second match of the ICC World Cup against Afghanistan. India bowled first and on a flat surface, the Indian bowling unit managed to restrict Afghanistan to under 272 which was never going to be enough against an in-form Indian top order. While Ishan Kishan(47) held one end, Rohit Sharma(133) wreaked Havoc by the other end and unleashed the beast mode. He looked unstoppable and scored 100 in just 63 balls (Fastest Indian). Virat weaved his half-century and took India home with 8 wickets remaining.

While India got both of their matches with ease, Pakistan, on the other hand, faced some challenges for their first win against Netherlands. Pakistan posted a moderate 286-run target on the board and on several occasions it looked like Netherlands were going to get their first World Cup victory but Pakistan prevailed at the end by a huge margin of 81 runs.

Sri Lanka were the next team Pakistan faced. Sri Lanka put on a mammoth total of 344 runs and Pakistan, even after losing a few early wickets, covered the total with some balls to spare. Rizwan was the man who took Pakistan past the target with his stellar 131*. In the meantime, a major concern for Pakistan is their skipper being out of form for quite a while now.

Numbers are in favor of the home side in the context of this fierce contest. India have never lost to Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. Pakistan have battled in 7 ODI matches in the World Cup against India and still thriving for their first victory.

IND vs PAK: Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report

The Narendra Modi Stadium consists of a variety of playing surfaces but most probably the black soil pitch will be used in the IND vs PAK contest. An exciting match between bat and ball is anticipated at Narendra Modi Stadium, which is renowned for its grandeur and extensive cricketing heritage.

With a decent striking track, the pitch at this location typically assists hitters. The pitch tends to favor seamers early on in the game, therefore the early overs of the game might be difficult for batsmen. The captain would undoubtedly be watching the toss since the dew might make or break the game.

Australia and South Africa had a contrasting start to their campaign in the ICC World Cup 2023. While South Africa annihilated Sri Lanka to bring up their maiden win of the event, Australia faced a hammering loss against India in their first game.

Australia will be having some bitter memories playing against South Africa. In their recent tour of South Africa, Australia lost a 5-match ODI series 3-2. Even after winning the first two ODIs comfortably, Australia lost the last three brutally.

Australia’s defeat count didn’t stop there. Next, Australia lost a 3-match ODI series against India 2-1 and also lost the opening encounter of ICC World Cup 2023 against India by 6 wickets.

South Africa, on the other hand, are at the best of their run. The Proteas’ batting just crashed out the Sri Lankan bowling order and posted a record total of 428 in their tournament opener against Sri Lanka and won the match by 102 runs. Pitch Report of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium

The Ekana Cricket Stadium has a reputation for providing ideal bowling conditions, particularly for spinners. The sluggish pitches here make it challenging for batters to get going and drive the ball through the line. Additionally, as the game goes on, pacers could benefit from the slow pitch since they can use multiple variations in addition to their stock ball.

As the ICC World Cup 2023 is on, batting great Sachin Tendulkar during an interaction with fans on a YouTube channel was asked a tough question. He, however, made it easy and in a flash gave his answer.

The former Indian captain was asked apart from Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin If he could add one member from India’s World Cup-winning squad in 2011 to the current squad, who would it be?

Sachin Tendulkar didn’t hesitant and immediately named Yuvraj Singh. The former Indian all-rounder was one of the biggest reason why India won the ICC World Cup 2011. He was crowned as the Player of the Tournament as he played a great role with both bat and ball.

Yuvraj Singh recently backed young batter Shubman Gill to be the best player of this generation. He said that the young batter has the potential to achieve great heights and can do wonders in the coming years.

Speaking to the Week, Yuvraj Singh said: “Shubman Gill has the potential to become the best player of this generation”.

Shubman Gill in the short span of time has developed himself into the mainstay of the Indian batting lineup. He’s currently the No.2 ranked batter in the ODIs and is the leading run-getter in the 50-over format this year.

He’s currently part of the Indian squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. But hasn’t featured in two games as he has been tested positive for dengue. The batter is likely to be back soon.
