IND vs AUS Match 5: Big Aussie Player doubtful for India vs Australia World Cup 2023 Match 5

IND vs AUS Match 5: Big Aussie Player doubtful for India vs Australia World Cup 2023 Match 5: The Australian squad has copped a blow ahead of their opening clash against India in Chennai on October 8. The Aussies will be without the services of seasoned all-rounder Marcus Stoinis for its game against India due to an injury.

As confirmed by the Australian coach, Andrew McDonald, Marcus Stoinis picked up a hamstring injury, last month, during Australia’s tour to India for three ODIs.

The all-rounder played the opening ODI in Mohali, but since then has not come out to feature for his team. In the meantime, Australia have played a total of four ODIs (2 against India and 2 ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up game) since that injury episode.

The Australian head coach informed that Stoinis will be “touch and go” for the clash against India, which is scheduled to be held on October 8 in Chennai.

“He’s got a slight hamstring complaint at this stage, so that’s why he missed the practice games and he’ll be touch and go for the first game against India,” Australia coach Andrew McDonald said in Chennai on Thursday while talking about Stoinis.

“We’ve got the main session today and then another hit out tomorrow, so he’ll go through his work there and we’ll see whether he’s available for selection for game one but at the moment he wasn’t fit and available for those practice games,” added McDonald.

Elaborating on when Stoinis picked up a slight hamstring niggle, the Aussie head coach said: “That happened after the Mohali game. He pulled up a little bit sore from that game and then further investigation obviously led to that being a slight hamstring and then he’s just rehabilitating.”

IND vs AUS: Australia to field both Marcus Stoinis & Cameron Green Simultaneously

Marcus Stoinis is quite crucial for Australia’s strategies in the ICC World Cup 2023. He is one of the five all-rounders picked in the side, and the team banks on him big time. He is a big-match player and has a lot of onus on his shoulders as a senior all-rounder.

Talking about the selection of all-rounders, Andrew McDonald said that Australia has plans to fit both Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green in the same playing11.

“There’s a way that we can fit them both into the one side,” he said. “Over the last 18 months, we’ve had a pretty clear way that we want to build three ways of playing. One of those ways is definitely with all the allrounders and potentially two quicks, and you’ve seen that side in the past 18 months being played, so there is a real possibility that both of those players can be in the same XI and we haven’t ruled that out.”

IND vs BAN Dream11 Prediction, Dream11 Team, Probable Playing 11s and Squads| India vs Bangladesh Asian Games 1st Semifinal

IND vs BAN Dream11 Prediction: The first Semifinal of Asian Games Men’s cricket is scheduled to be played between India and Bangladesh on October 6. Ruturaj and co. are all set to battle out Bangladesh in the Asian Games 1st Semifinal at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field, Hangzhou tomorrow at 6:30 AM. In this post, we will walk you through the IND vs BAN Dream11 Prediction, Dream11 Team, Probable Playing 11s and Squads.

Riding over a brilliant hundred of Jashasvi Jaiswal, India won the first quarterfinal of the Asian Games Men’s cricket decisively. India got a direct entry to the quarterfinals and defeated Nepal who passed through group stage in order to play quarterfinals.

India were excellent with the bat in the first innings. Shivam Dube and Ruturaj combined to add 50 runs (25 each). Jaiswal’s 100 off 49 and Rinku’s quick 37*(15) to the end helped India post a mammoth total of 202 runs on board.

Nepal lost a couple of early wickets and Ravi Bishnoi didn’t allow them later to settle. Avesh and Ravi shared 3-3 wickets while Arshdeep went expensive but managed to grab 2 wickets. Debutant Sai Kishore took the remaining one and India won their first outing in the Asian Games 2023.

On the other side, Malaysia put up a strong fight against Bangladesh in the quarterfinal. Both of Bangladesh’s openers left for ducks and in the third over, with the third wicket falling for 3 runs left them in a terrible position against a non-test-playing country.

Skipper Saif Hassan and the middle order then united to rescue and fighting and quarreling, they managed to put forth a competitive total of 116 runs. The fact that Malaysia is a cricketing newbie helped Bangladesh just escape losing. Bangladesh ended up winning the match by only 2 runs and cemented their spot in the semifinals against India.

Both teams have quality players but India have an edge over Bangladesh. Down below are the IND vs BAN Dream11 Prediction, Dream11 Team, Probable Playing 11s and Squads:

ENG vs NZ: England Playing 11 vs New Zealand Playing 11 Prediction Match 1 | ICC World Cup 2023

ENG vs NZ: England Playing 11 vs New Zealand Playing 11 Prediction Match 1 | ICC World Cup 2023: It’s been a little bit more than four years since that infamous episode unfolded at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. England and New Zealand were the two teams plying their trade as it stirred a massive controversy around the rules of the game of cricket and its effectiveness in giving the honour to the deserved one. Though that episode went in favor of the hosts, England, who eventually were crowned as the 2019 World Cup champions amidst all the hue and cries of partiality in the rules, the two teams will be against each other once again, but at a completely different setting.

England will take on New Zealand in the curtain-raiser fixture of the ICC World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The number of fans assembling to watch the ENG vs NZ opening fixture could reach as high as 1,30,000 in Ahmedabad, which would be one hell of an experience for the teams playing.

The environment of the ICC World Cup 2023 will be different and the conditions will be testing for the players as they play in the scorching heat of Ahmedabad. The weather for the day is also predicted to remain on the drier side with no rain predictions.

Let us take a look at the ENG vs NZ: England Playing 11 vs New Zealand Playing 11 Prediction Match 1 | ICC World Cup 2023.

ENG vs NZ: England Playing 11 vs New Zealand Prediction | World Cup 2023

England have options aplenty to choose their playing 11 for the ICC World Cup 2023 opener against New Zealand. The team can comfortably afford to bench both Reece Topley and David Willey, if needed, due to a lot of all-rounder options in the team.

Opener Dawid Malan would be Jos Buttler’s one of the most potent weapons at the top order. Malan has shown promising signs in the past few weeks owing to which he pipped veteran opener Jason Roy from the ICC World Cup 2023 squad. The 36-year-old batter amassed 277 runs in just three ODI innings against New Zealand last month.

All-rounder Ben Stokes’s return to the ODI colours could see a bit of delay as the batter complained of a hip niggle. England captain Buttler informed that the decision to include Stokes into the side will be taken after accessing his niggle. Young Harry Brook will provide cover to the team in case Ben Stokes is not fit to play in the fixture.

Here is England Playing 11 vs New Zealand:

Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, Joe Root, Ben Stokes/Harry Brook, Jos Buttler (c/wk), Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood

ENG vs NZ: New Zealand Playing 11 vs England Prediction | World Cup 2023

New Zealand has suffered an early setback as their captain, Kane Williamson will be unavailable for the opening game against England. Williamson suffered a knee ligament injury during the IPL 2023 and is not yet 100 percent ready to play a full-length ODI game. Though he was one of the top scorers for New Zealand in the two warm-up games held, where he scored a total of 91 runs from 101 deliveries.

The Kiwis can include Rachin Ravindra or James Neesham to fill the place left by Kane Williamson. The former batter scored 97 runs in the warm-up games, which might persuade the management to give him a nod ahead of seasoned James Neesham.

In Williamson’s absence, Tom Latham would spearhead the side, while Devon Conway would open the innings alongside Will Young.

Here is New Zealand Playing 11 vs England:

Devon Conway, Will Young, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (c/wk), Glenn Phillips, Jimmy Neesham/Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Matt Henry, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson

ENG vs NZ Dream11 Prediction World Cup 2023 Match 1 | England vs New Zealand Dream11 Team, Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report

ENG vs NZ Dream11 Prediction World Cup 2023 Match 1 | England vs New Zealand Dream11 Team, Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report: All the wait and excitement for the ICC World Cup 2023 has reached its climax as we are left with just one more night before we see the tournament opener clash between England and New Zealand. The two sides will face each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 5 to begin the ICC World Cup 2023 proceedings. The game starts at 2:00 PM (IST).

It’s been four years since that infamous episode at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, which saw the rise of England as the World Cup champions. New Zealand were at the other end of the things as they again fell a wee bit short to lift the coveted glory.

Over the years we have heard many experts talk about the future of 50-overs cricket and its sustainability. Many have even said that the ODIs might phase out after the World Cup in 2023. However, the question to all these questions lies in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023. Will the India edition of the ICC World Cup reignite fans’ passion for 50-over cricket and live up to the expectations or will it be done and dusted for one of the most loved cricket formats in the past?

There will be several exciting elements in the game which unfolds tomorrow at the Narendra Modi Stadium. There will be the test of Kiwi pacer Trent Boult’s shine as he faces the touted England openers. Mark Wood’s fiery spell in the ODIs will also be under the examination. And on top of everything, the cricket pundits would be keen on seeing Ben Stokes’ comeback in the ODIs just as a pure batter.

Below is everything you need to know about the fixture – ENG vs NZ Dream11 Prediction World Cup 2023 Match 1 | England vs New Zealand Dream11 Team, Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report.

ICC World Cup 2023: ENG vs NZ Dream11 Prediction

Jos Buttler-led England has enjoyed the upper hand over New Zealand over the years. The latest ICC ODI Team Ranking reflects the same, where England are placed slightly ahead of New Zealand. Also, the Kiwis will be without their mainstay batter Kane Williamson for the game, which might add more in favour of the Englishmen.

Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad offers both red and black soil pitches. Often the red soil offers good movement to the seamers as compared to that of the black soil. However, it will be the question as to which surface is used for the tournament opener between England and New Zealand. The temperature is expected to be on the dry side, which will absorb moisture from the surface. The seamers tend to get decent help under the lights in Ahmedabad, while the spinners will get decent aid off the surface.
