Australia vs India: David Warner hopeful to come back in the second test game.

Australia vs India: The star opening batsman for Australia hopes to regain full match fitness to come back in the boxing day test game. Warner in the recent interview with SEN radio reveals his excitement and disappointment at the same time for the Test series against India.

The 34-years old had suffered a groin injury in the second One Day International previously, since then he is ruled out of the squad and is hopeful to step into the field for the boxing day test game.

“I am hopeful, that’s the one that I never wanted to miss out on. It is my first missed test through injury so I am obviously very disappointed with that,” Warner said on SEN Radio.

“Against India, it is a big event, I surely didn’t want to miss out, It’s devastating for me. But the guys who are stepping gout there will perform to their most.”

“Hopefully we win the first encounter and step onto the Boxing Day Test on a good note and get the momentum into the new year,” he added.

Another 10 Days will work, Warner

David Warner is currently doing his rehab program in Sydney and he plans to increase the level of intensity of his training.

“I have been training nicely, hopefully in a few more days, I will be good to go. I managed to get up to 14 kilometers an hour so I have got to increase it to a max of 26 to 30 kilometers an hour by the next week”

Australia and India are scheduled for the iconic Boxing Day Test from 26th December at Melbourne Cricket Ground. It is the biggest occasion on the Australian cricket calendar.

Previously Warner told, 10 more days will work for him to do the fast agile movement and another 10 days will provide him all these abilities.

“If I can go out there and run comfortably in the wickets and perform some ground fielding by the end of next week, I should be ready to go. Finger crossed.”

“Frustrated” Mohammad Amir retires from International cricket

“Frustrated” Mohammad Amir retires from International cricket.

Mohammad Amir Retires: Pakistan’s left-arm paceman on Thursday announced his retirement from international cricket. Amir’s decision to leave International cricket was backed by the frustrating treatment from Pakistan’s board.

The 28-years old paceman was not considered for New Zealand despite being available. Amir was also disappointed for not picking him for the home tour against Zimbabwe.

Amir picked 119 scalps in his 36 test games while he got 81 ODI wickets in 61 games along with 59 T20I wickets in 50 games.

Management did not consider Amir despite being available:

I (Amir) was always ready for the limited-overs cricket but I have had a shabby treatment from the team management who have mentally tortured me, and that’s not acceptable.”

PCB chief executive also confirmed the news, Wasim Khan talked to Amir this afternoon and learned that Amir has no intentions to play in the international games and he should not be considered for the future selections.

The decision which he took is his personal choice and PCB respects that.

The left-arm pacer disappointed head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis with his hasty decision of quitting test cricket.

Younis referred to it as “he ditched Pakistan” while continuing franchise cricket for money.

I would know my body more than anyone else and that decision was basically taken after considering my body,” Amir replied.

The pacer was also involved in the Spot Fixing case and was banned for five years after found guilty.

He along with test skipper Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif were banned for deliberately throwing no-balls in return for money in the Lord’s Test against England in 2010.

Mohammad Amir however made his comeback in 2016 and helped his side win the Champions Trophy Final against India.

Amir was Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in the previous ICC ODI World Cup.

Australia vs India: Will Pucovski faced 9th concussion, Langer worried

0

Australia vs India: Will Pucovski faced 9th concussion, Langer worried.

Australia vs India: Australia head coach, Justin Langer reckons he is worried about the youngster Will Pucovski’s international career. The young batsman Pucovski faced his ninth concussion recently in the game between India A and Australia A.

Pucovski is right now ruled out of the first test game against India due to a concussion that he suffered during the second practice game. According to the reports, this is the ninth time, Will faced a concussion.

9th Concussion for Will Pucovski:

Pucovski has had many concussions now. Australian medical team is closely monitoring him. He is right now back home with his loved ones at this time,” Justin Langer said.

Will Pucovski could not dodge the ball off the Indian reserve pacer Kartik Tyagi. The ball straight went to hit his helmet for the ninth time.

It was certain that Pucovski would get his baggy green cap in the first test game but the incident took his chance.

I am worried about Will because he got hit again the other day, and he almost certainly would have played his first test match, so I feel for him,” Langer said.

He’ll recover well then we have to go through the protocols. If he passes all the stages and returns fit for the selection then we have an option to select them or not… if they don’t then it becomes out of our hands,” Langer told.

Bouncers are the part of the game, Langer:

The 50 years old himself suffered various head knocks and feels bouncers are a part of the game.

Bouncers are one important aspect of the game. Unfortunately, we get hit. I can only say with my personal experience, what I have felt and also seen. But if you survive these then there is no reason why you can’t have a long successful domestic career as well as an international,” Langer added.

Right now Marcus Harris has been drafted as his replacement and will be part of the squad.

Three of the most prominent members of the Australian squad faced the concussion before the upcoming series. Will Pucovski, Cameron Green, and Harry Conway.

While skipper Tim Paine confirmed Cameron Green to be the part of the first game playing 11.
