Australia vs India: Glenn Maxwell apologized to KL Rahul for his poor performance in IPL. Australian all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell says, he apologized to KL. Australia vs India: Glenn Maxwell apologized to KL Rahul for his poor performance in IPL.

With Australia thrashing Men in Blues by 66 runs after imposing a mammoth total of 374 runs, the Australian all-rounder says, he apologized to KL Rahul during the match. In the 374 runs total, Glenn Maxwell supported his side by his quickfire runs in a short span.

Glenn Maxwell, who was seen struggling to hit sixes in the duration of the Indian T20 League, smacked Indian bowlers all over the park. Maxwell in his quickfire innings scored 45 runs in mere 19 deliveries which consists of 5 fours and 3 towering sixes.

In his innings, Maxwell tried reverse sweeps shots and wristy flicks to add more fun to the game. It is the genuine nature of the all-rounder to play shorts in the reverse direction.

However, Maxwell reckons he has apologized to his Kings XI Punjab teammate KL Rahul, who was keeping the wickets, for his poor show in the Indian Premier League.

Australian star all-rounder in 11 outings for KXIP scored scanty 108 runs at a miserable average of 15.42. He struck the ball at 101.88 which does not justify his caliber. To everyone’s surprise, Maxwell struggled to hit even a single six in the Indian T20 League.

After the match, his KXIP counterpart, James Neesham involved in the online banter with Maxwell. To which the Australian replied that “I apologized to him (KL Rahul) while I was batting.”

Australia and India will play the second ODI in the same venue at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) while for the third they will move to Manuka Oval, Canberra.
