India’s Squad for T20 World Cup 2022 [Predicted]:
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan will be India’s opening options for the T20 World Cup 2022 with Rohit Sharma leading the side and KL Rahul acting as the deputy. Virat Kohli has returned back in form and is scoring runs consistently. He will be the man to complete India’s top order.
Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant will be on the side as middle-order batters. Although Rishabh Pant hasn’t performed well in the recent past, India desperately needs a left-hand batter in the middle order and so far India hasn’t found a worthy alternative for him.
Besides the aforementioned names, Dinesh Karthik, Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya will be the other middle-order batters. While Hardik will be mostly used as a balancer in the squad, Karthik and Hooda have been extensively tested to provide solid finishes to the innings.
The spin bowling options for team India would be Yuzvendra Chahal, R Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s inclusion in the Indian team for T20 World Cup is subject to fitness. If Jadeja fails to prove his fitness, Axar Patel can be added to the squad as his replacement.
