BCCI announces India’s Home Series of Season 2023-34 | India set to host Australia, Afghanistan and England in their 2023-24 Home Season: The BCCI has announced India’s home schedule for the 2023-24 season. The schedule features some exciting matchups, including a three-match ODI series against Australia and then a five-match T20I series.
Australia is the top-ranked ODI team in the world, and India is currently ranked third. This will be a great opportunity for both teams to test their strengths and prepare for the World Cup 2023.
Afghanistan is a rising team that has been making waves in recent years. They are currently ranked 10th in the world in T20I Cricket, and they have a very talented young team. This will be a good test for Indian team, who is currently ranked first in the world in T20I Rankings.
After the ODI and T20I series against Australia and Afghanistan, India will host England for a five-match Test series starting on January 25, 2024. The series will be played in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala.
The Test series against England is a highly anticipated event, as both teams are considered to be among the best in the world. India is currently ranked number one in the Test rankings, whereas England is ranked at third spot.
