Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: The fourteenth season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is just around the corner and the franchisee must be preparing for the mega-event. The IPL 2021 auction is scheduled to take place on 18th February in Chennai and the teams will surely try to add mettle to their squad with the new talents.

While there are some of the franchise that can lead to the upcoming season of Indian Premier league without taking part in the IPL 2021 auctions if they have to. Here in this article, we will look at 3 teams that can head to IPL 2021 without any purchase in IPL 2021 auctions.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR):

Even though the Shahrukh Khan owned franchise endured an abysmal season of Indian Premier League last time, but they still have one of the prominent arsenals. The two times champions had to do a lot of permutation and combination to qualify for the playoffs last year, however, they have been one side whose middle order is daunting for the rest of the franchise.

KKR has released only Chris Green, Nikhil Naik, Siddhesh Lad, Manimaran Siddharth, and Harry Gurney and kept the international stars with them even they underperformed in the last season.

With the likes of Eoin Morgan, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, Andree Russell in their middle order, they form an explosive core that can thrash any target. Shubman Gill and Varun Chakravarthy are their young talents who can surprise any side with their tricks.

No doubt, they can head to the IPL 2021 without any purchase in the auctions on 18th February.

Delhi Capitals (DC):

Shreyas Iyer led side that is filled with a lot of aggression and talent had a breakout season last time as they reached the highest tier of the IPL. DC remained one step behind the IPL title, however, reaching the finals was history for them.

With the likes of Prithwi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajiinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Shimron Hetmyre and Marcus Stoinis, DC forms a formidable squad. Including the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axer Patel in bowling, they become even more strong.

DC has released just six players from their squad before the IPL 2021 and will feel strong even they do not get a quality pick at the auctions.

Mumbai Indians (MI):

The most successful franchise and five times champion are one of the sides that remains the all-time favourite to win any tournament. Rohit Sharma has led the side IPL trophy for huge five times.

Mumbai Indians have retained all the key players including Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah and the list goes on.

No doubt, they still look the favourites to win the IPL 2021 with the likes of world-class performers of cricket.

MI has released seven players before the IPL 2021 mini-auctions and the side will be happy without the auctions.
