IPL 2021 Dates: With the test series win against England with 2-1, here is another welcome news for the Indian fans supporters. The fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin on April 09th. The previous year IPL was shifted to UAE after damages caused by the pandemic and the games were played across three venues in UAE – Sharjah, Abu Dabhi, and Dubai.

However, this time Sourav Ganguly and the team are keen on bringing back the Indian T20 tournament home. The situation is gradually improving in the country as the vaccine drive is reaching every individual.

According to the report of India Today, BCCI is likely to host the IPL from April 09 to May 30th across six different venues in India.

Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad will host all the games of the 52-day tournament. BCCI has already tested the conditions with Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophies. The India vs England series is also conducted under a strict bio-bubble protocol.

All eight teams will have to be under the secure bio-bubbles across the six venues and it remains to be seen if the authorities allow fans to enter the stadium for the cash-rich league. IPL 2020 was played with the spectators but the season fetched a tremendous viewership throughout.

It is expected that the fans will be back at the stadium cheering for their favourite teams. The India vs England test series was conducted with the fans and BCCI successfully managed to sail through it.

The IPL 2021 Auctions were conducted last year and all the teams have equipped themselves with the best players from the world of cricket.
