Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: Owing to the most loyal fan-base over the years in Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings has endorsed numerous brands. The immense popularity of MS Dhoni in the yellow jersey attracts more feathers to the golden hat of the three times champions. CSK has partnered with many brands since the inception of IPL and has successfully provided exposure to the concerned parties. Now ahead of the fourteenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), CSK has roped in a massive deal with the automobile giant.

CSK’s deal with Czech’s Skoda:

The automobile giant, Skoda will be the title sponsor of the Chennai Super Kings for the fourteenth edition of Indian Premier League. The franchise left behind the deal with Muthoot Group, who was the principal sponsor of CSK and partnered with the Czech giant Skoda.

In the place of Muthoot, MS Dhoni-led CSK will be seen featuring Skoda for the next three years.

According to the reports of The Inside Sports, CSK will get a mammoth INR 75 Crores for featuring Skoda as the principal sponsor of the franchise. The Muthoot group earlier used to pay CSK INR 65 crores to be a primary sponsor of the team.

Despite being the consistent performer of the cash-rich league, CSK went through a massive downfall last year. The MS Dhoni-led side finished second last on the points table, however, Skoda showed faith in the leadership of MS Dhoni and joined hands with the three-times champion franchise.

CSK’s IPL 2021 auction challenge:

While attending the IPL 2021 auction, CSK will be an aggressive buyer and would love to acquire some good talented cricketers (overseas and domestic). With INR 22.9 Crore purse value left to be spent on the players, CSK can run after the talents to acquire them.
