IPL 2021: Star Sports expands its broadcasting sponsors list as two more joins the deal

Star Sports broadcasting Sponsors: Indian Premier League (IPL) official broadcaster Star Sports is gearing up for the upcoming season of the cash-rich league. After the success of last year’s IPL, Star Sports is ready to multiply its revenue this season as it ropes-in four more sponsors.

The thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League shattered all the previous records as it became the most successful IPL season despite posing several challenges.

Earlier, it was reported that Dream11, Byju’s, Phone Pe and Just Dial have joined hands with Star Sports as Co-Presenting partners. Now the list is getting even bigger as it brings in four more associate sponsors in the bag.

Bingo and AFMI have confirmed their partnership as an associate sponsor for IPL 2021 while Frooti and Kamla Pasand are the new joinings.

According to InsideSports, the deal for Co-Presenting partners is around worth INR 150-120 Crores and Associate Sponsors will pay around INR 55-65 Crores.

IPL’s live streaming partner Disney+Hostar is not far behind Star Sports in roping in the brands for forthcoming IPL.

According to some of the media outlets, Disney+Hotstar have already signed deals with 10 brands. Dream11 will be the Co-Presenting sponsor while Upstox and Vimal Elaichi are Co-Powered by the Sponsor. Apart from these PhonePe, Unacademy, Pharmeasy, Livspace, Swiggy, AMFI, and Parle Agro are the associate sponsor for the coming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Streaming partner Disney+Hotstar is now planning to penetrate the revenue of approximately INR 3200 Crores this year.

The fourteenth edition of Indian Premiere League will kick start from 09th April onwards with Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
