Strengths:

Weakness: 

The weakness is not very evident. The team has got every base covered. But they should have gone for someone like an Ishant Sharma as a backup for Deepak Chahar. Deepak Chahar has a hamstring that is prone to injuries. Over the years, Deepak has struggled a lot with the same. So, a solid back for him was required. At times Chris Jordan and Adam Milne also leak runs. 

Opportunities: 

The opportunities are many. The best opportunity is for MS Dhoni to finish on a high note by winning the IPL 5 times. The other opportunity is for Maheesh Teekshana. Mystery spinners have always been successful in the IPL and the same can be the case with Maheesh. With Hardik Pandya prone to injuries, the Indian Cricket Team is always excited to have a bowling all-rounder. Shivam Dube can make a case for himself in that place. 

Threats: 

The biggest threat is injuries. With age comes experience but also a tired body. The players are veterans of the game and know how to deal with it but still, an injury can get their campaign off-track. For CSK IPL 2022 will be crucial. The other threat is MSD’s batting. MSD plays a crucial number 6 position. Evidently, it was not the best last season, the teams will be looking to exploit the same.
